I would definitely buy it if it was $40 or $80. He stated that Toro/Coprimozzo is coming in June and the next figure after that is Flipout. We have already seen a painted test shot prototype for Flipout at the same time we saw Crackup. Like most combiners the legs and arms are using very similar engineering and are being developed together at the same time. Logic would dictate that they went with the legs first because they slip on the back. The arms needed more time because of the separation feature.

I think that when Flipout preorders return, they won't be the same price as Crackout anymore. Keith is only speaking about Crackout, but no word about the other limbs.

@ibot When the series was announced, we were told all the carbots would get good early bird pricing (assumption being all around $40). That still the case?

I pre-ordered this yesterday BECAUSE it was $40. If the others wind up being $80 I probably won't grab them and that's alright with me. Breakdown was always my favorite and while it would be nice to have the whole team on my shelf.... I'm not terribly bothered.

That said, if the other limbs are also $40, that's 3 guaranteed sales.

Breakdown was certainly one of the best parts of the War for Cybertron game.

It does look great but Dead End is my favorite stunticon. It will be difficult for me to make a decision until I see both versions of him.

Why would anyone assume its only crack up? Lol they will 100% be the same price it's beyond common sense. I still think all retailers will raise even pre ordered prices.

What are you saying? You say they will all be the same price...then say retailers will raise the price. That makes a lot of sense. That makes no sense.

Ah here we go. There must be something wrong with me. Can you engage someone in conversation over a toy without making an attack on their character or making unfounded accusations about some damage you think they suffer from? I guess after 23K posts its just a learned behavior of yours. Most likely brainwashed by forum trolls. Typical.

No friend, my memory is just fine, and having an opinion that is contrary to yours is not tantamount to brainwashing. I'll take my bleached kibbled giant over your 90s desktop computer casing colored squirt any day- :p

The sky isn't falling either- but your mighty midget, stunted con, Crack-up will have to look in the direction of the sky to see the awesomeness of my Montanna. Though I wouldn't advise that either of you do that during a solar eclipse- you might get permanent damage from the buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurn- ;)

I want this stuff as cheap as possible too but let's be honest, $40.00 is an insanely low price for any of these in the MP scale. I would love to get the rest of the limbs for that price but I really don't expect that they will all be that price. We're all aware of the situation that brought this to pass so if the rest of the limbs turn out to be $70 or something, I really think I could live with that.

I don't expect that they should be...but I would appreciate the answer upfront before I start. Then again, if there is NO price increase for Crackup, now or after release...I guess I'm fine just waiting it out and discovering the answer as it comes. My issue was if this was an early bird price, and then we find out the follow-up releases all get 50-100% upfront price increases...that's poor form with a combiner. You want to avoid unexpected, undesirable surprises with combiners as a courtesy to your customers.

I think this makes sense. XTB has indeed revealed more, but unless you are really fixated on the size, then the proper thing to do is wait. For the amount of money that I will eventually be paying, I expect each Stunticon to have a unique transformation. My guess is the XTB Menasor will have at least two members with almost similar transformation.

I like many just want to know if they will be upcharged after this release. I have him on pre-order now, but if the other bots are gonna be $70 I think I'm out and I'll just wait to see how dx9 looks as a finished product.

iBot's silence in this matter is answer enough IMHO. People have been PM ing and he hasn't given any answer. The price may be dependent on how many Crackups people buy i.e. people buy more, the price on the next 3 limb bots will be higher because the assumption is that people are already invested. Btw I am not saying every one of the last 3 limb bots will have different prices, i.e. one higher after the other. They'll all be the same price, just not 40.

If I am ibot, I will set the price for the next 3 limb bots at 55 and be done with it. It's not 39.99, but it's not 70 or 80 either.

@hellex - if I was @ibot I'd be set because I would make whichever figures I personally want, how I want them, in the color I want and forget all the fandom that PM's me for every little thing. Lol.

I am just kidding by the way.

I think being a rep for a 3P is a thankless job. LoL

I sent ibot a direct message asking about future release prices today, lets see if he replies
