So I ordered Blackout on Tuesday and got my package today. Sweet! I'm about to leave the house and the Fed Ex guy drops it off. I wait to get back home to open it up... and it's Grimlock. On the one hand I'm pissed that I got sent the wrong figure but now I'm tempted to keep it because it looks good. What usually happens in this type of situation with HTS?

 

They send you a new one if it's in stock and you get to keep what they sent.

 

Agreed. I've had that happen before. Sometimes it's just not worth their trouble to worry about the shipping costs back to them.

You'll come to learn that people love to complain but go ahead and buy anyway. They do it because they love to hear themselves but secretly covet when others have what they don't.

 

Also, he’s actually pretty cool. Not to make you feel worse... just that sometimes the vocal majority isn’t the actual majority.

Yes, I was defining the phrase “Vocal minority”. But I was using “vocal majority” to describe the majority of people who voice their opinions. Truth is, people like to talk shit way more than share praise. So, even if the majority of the people love something, you’re more likely to hear from the complainers. Humans kind of suck.

 

Not to derails things, but that’s the definition of vocal minority/silent majority. The small amount of people are the loudest while the majority of the same opinion are silent. At this point it’s debating semantics, but the correct term is vocal minority and silent majority. Vocal majority would refer to a loud opinion held by the majority of people (common knowledge or popularly excepted).

 

You are, of course, correct. I was using literary license to make a point. But we’re saying the same thing.
