He's it's looking spectacular in robot mode, however, i will be amazed until i see the T-Rex mode.

Dude, it will definitely be more than Dinobot, he's a bit taller, they'll probably throw in that giant mech-stand thing again,
and he'll probably come with a ton of accessories... I'm expecting $350 at a minimum, probably MSRP closer to $400.
But retailers will probably discount it a good bit, so I'm sure you'll be able to buy him for $280 or so.

Obviously gonna insert my usual “WHERE’S GALVATRON?!” rant, but even I have to say holy f—k he’s beautiful.

 

Pulled the first $10 out of my wallet to start the collection for this guy. Also, threw on my Beast Wars dvds. With Dinobot still on the horizon, it's the first time in a long, long time that I've been this pumped for MP Transformers.

I've said it several times on this board, but after Dinobot, all I ever wanted was a Megatron to go with him. But, with Megatron revealed, this begs the question.... Who is next? I figure the safe money is on either of the two remaining S1 Maximals (Rhinox or Rattrap), or Waspinator. Maybe a Tigatron remold/resize? But do we think an accurate Blackarachnia is too much to hope for? She is pretty much a central cast member by the end of the run, and she's both a Maximal and a Pred, covering both bases.

Come on Takara, whatever voodoo you're conjuring for these, it's time to really up your game. BA or bust. Or Terrorsaur (mic drop territory if you manage that one!). But definitely Blackarachnia!

Hell, just keep 'em coming two a year until we have all of them, whaddya say?

 

This looks amazing.
I'm only in for the Primal and Megatron moulds for Beast Wars so this will mean 2/3 complete or on the way already!! Between the MP Primal and this, and the stunning Perfect Effect Optimal Optimus and Transmetal 2 Megatron, I just need someone to tackle the TransMetal versions.

To those who think this will be cheaper than Dinobot, I don't know who you think you're kidding. You only have to look at the US retail price on that MP Cordon (Police Sunstreaker redeco) to know that Takara are screwing every last possible cent out of these figures. This will easily match Dinobot in price, maybe be even more. And why wouldn't they? People have been perfectly willing to pay Dinobots price, so there's nothing to indicate they shouldn't keep pushing that bar higher.

As for the figure itself, it looks great. I'd love a light up gimmick in the eyes like Primal, and possibly even a voice chip, like MP-36 - as long as they give us the English voice this time, which of course they wont. The texture on the dino hide is pretty cool, though I do wish they went a little more intense with it, like the Prime 1 statue - but they're clearly still aiming for the CGI look. But the Rubber Ducky IS a must have accesory for this!!

The tail arm has a hand, you can see the fist gripping the tail. I'm doubting that the dino head arm will have one, as he was never even implied to have one on that side in the show. But there's also no real reason it couldn't be made to work on the figure, so you may yet get your wish.

OH MY GOD, YES!

Not gonna lie, I wanted Rattrap and Rhinox first but this still blows me away. A Masterpiece BW Megatron, holy shit. And it’s a prototype already, and he has a number, no silhouette-teasing-for-half-a-year bullshit.

This is pre-ordered on sight, cannot wait to see the beast mode and a colored prototype!

 

Although I won't be able to afford it (even had to cancel Dinobot, alas) and am downsizing my collection currently, I just want to say to fellow Beast Wars fans:

THIS. IS. AMAZING. And I am SO happy for us/you. This was so long coming. Long live BW. CONGRATS.      

 

Oh God, yes....yes, that's beautiful, that's simply perfect. This is what I waited for 20 years. I know this will makes me like an immature no-lifer but when I've opened up TFW and seen these images, I almost cried...
It exists, I still can't believe it...and the scale is perfect as well.....wow. Just wow. I'm speechless. Thank you Takara, just....thank you.
