If memory serves, it was the inspiration for Twincast. Also, does anyone have a link to the thread where they were voting on the Million Publishing exclusive and Police Sunstreaker was an option?
Nice example. I've learned that the GiG releases included transitional stampings. Some were packaged with the circled takara and others had the dated takara japan stampings. What is your smokescreen's stamp?

Ah! It's all the way down the bottom of the page in the notes! Didn't see that as many of the other G1 toys mention Diaclone/Microchange connections in the G1 toy description (eg Frenzy). Yay for consistency!
From my best friends collection. I've known him since kindergarten. We bonded quickly over our love for transformers. His older brother was born in Japan in the 70's and grew up with and acquired quite a few Diaclone in his youth. I was always so jealous of the huge box. It was always a treat when he would bring it down from the attic. Handling them with the utmost care and respect. My friend took possession of the box and would take the box down and show me from time to time. A couple ended up in my collection. He sold the rest years ago in high school splitting the profit with his brother. He had a lot. Hes been buying back some boxed pieces to start a small collection.
Figure it's high time I contributed. Was going to wait until this group was complete, but that may take a while. Since I sold all G1 and stayed with CHUG, this is my current Diaclone/Microchange group.
Man, I'd love to have a cassette that transforms into a motorcycle for Eject, Rewind, Rumble, or Frenzy to ride on!
I'm guessing this thread is more for the directly TF-related vintage pre-Transformers toys, as there's a great TakaraTomy Diaclone reboot thread in the Toyark forum I believe. On that note, as this thread has been resurrected, here's my Diaclone No.9 Honda City R: ...with recently and highly fortuitously added accurate red-tabbed launcher! All the best Maz
Why oh why couldn't FunPub have rolled that one out when they did the OTHER Skids mold Diaclone paint job? Hell, pack in an extra red Skids head for head swapping goodness, and you have near perfection.
