It's already April 15 and I not seen either of these at all at any of my Walmart's, Target's or TRU. Brick and mortar stores are at a new low when it comes to stocking anything new. All I see are bare shelves and pegs. I had a Walmart employee ask me if there was anything I was looking for. I said "Why? Your employer obviously don't care enough to put anything new in the aisles? You may as well just not have a toy section." She shrugged, said nothing and walked away.

Thanks for the reply. I actually just saw it, must have missed it somehow. Anyway I painted it without an undercoat but will probably go that route next time, I did buy some grey just in case.

This is incredibly embarrassing to read; don't be a dick to retail employees, Walmart or otherwise. Interactions like that are what make those jobs suck more than they should. Be better.

This. Holy hell, to have an employee who gave enough of a shit that she asked if she could help? I'd be very courteous to this person in hopes that she keeps up the good work.

If you saw some Walmart toy sections, you'd understand the frustration that can lead to comments like that slipping out. I try not to shop if I've had a long day of dealing with the needful doers.

Really? Well let me tell you that I've worked in retail, and I find how Walmarts are run to be rather deplorable. Lazy workers. To give you some background, this is the same employee that works there and I have been polite to her many times in the past. All I get in response was "I don't know" or "All we have is right here", or "Well, when the truck comes, the truck comes". They wander around and walk right past items that are laying on the floor, and they pay no mind to the empty shelves and pegs. They DON'T CARE! They only say "Can I help you" in a half-ass way because they have to, not because they want to. That's the kind of crap service at that WM. And I'm glad I told her because they need to hear it that this is unacceptable. This is a RETAIL store. In order to profit, you need ITEMS IN STOCK and on the shelves. No excuses. If they gave enough of a shit, they'd run the store better. It's now April 26, and everything still looks the same as it diid since January.

Edit: I'm sorry, they put a Titans Return Voyager Megatron on the shelf. My bad...

You think we could report these Walmarts to corporate? There has to be some sort of accounting system where a retailer has to answer for poor performance. I say you take some pictures and report them. If the problem is the manager, let him be reprimanded. If the problem is on Hasbro's end (as I have long argued), let Walmart corporate become aware that the situation is frustrating for their customers and that they need to talk to Hasbro about proper supply! :mad
You guys are ASSUMING the context of his remark. You're also assuming he said those words exactly, or that he scowled or screamed.

Really, I'm pretty sure the average TF fan does NOT scream at retail employees, so I'm shocked to hear you guys think so poorly of Sportimus (without asking for more details first!).
You really think that the toys appearing in CA (and nowhere else) is all "luck"? :lolol  Very likely, you're the point of entry and the supply was so low that the chains didn't bother shipping them past this point. EVERYTHING appears in CA first. Luck has nothing to do with it. ;)

Also, thanks for sharing the pictures! :rolleyes2  If there's a diabetic page somewhere here, why not post a picture of the delicious caramel cake you had last night? :D

The Toys R Us staff don't have to deal with mean old toy collectors anymore either.

(You know, I _do_ get what you're saying, which is part of why I don't shop retail much, but when corporate shuts out all criticism, you get ******ed statements like "nobody could've seen this coming" that let corporate shift blame and not learn anything.)
