I just got the last MP KO I needed at this point. So as of the moment, I don't really need any more.

So the question becomes, is there any 3rd Party MP KOs out there I should look out for?

I agree, but at the same time, there are some 3rd Party KO MPs I wouldn't mind getting either.

List me the ones (KO Takara) you own!!! Also, how about you rate the quality / how much you like each, so i can see which ones i want to risk. Debating on Ironhide, but not sure, i have shit luck with KO quality. Pretty happy with my Takara Inferno (like my favorite Takara i think), and kinda did start considering a future KO of the White / Red Japanese version with Targetmaster, but i think Ironhide would be more important as a new mold.

I think there is the KO of the Maketoys MP headmasters, but i could be wrong.

Also, not MP, but KO of Perfect Effect Lionidis seems pretty good.

If you were into legends class, plenty of KO there...

Are you on a budget?! If not, try to support the original designs... But if the KO improves a lot compared to the original, then go for the KO...

yeah, agree with Cigar on this one.. probably the best 3pKO right now is the OS Warbotron.

I have the original, or i'd get him!

now if they would just do a KO of Warbotron's Computron!

They're not KO, but you can find DX9 Tyrant, KFC Doubledeck and MMC Artifex for 60-70 dollars, nearly KO prices.

OS KO Gravity Builder. Only the first 2 figures are done so far, but the quality is really good on those 2.

    Sure,

Here are the ones I have:

    - Inferno
    - Grapple
    - Ratchet
    - Laserwave
    - Megatron (The IT version vs. the straight KO)

In terms of quality, Grapple is the worst of the bunch by far. But only because he is a bit floppy. If you plan full out play sessions, then maybe go for the original with him. If you plan to transform him, pose him and leave him on the shelf. Then you have no worries. There is no way you can tell the difference between a real figure and a KO on the shelf from more then a foot away, and ONLY if you know what your looking for.

The main things I have found with these KOs is that the paint apps aren't the best. But it's for really minor shit. Nothing worst then paint issues you see with other toys or even amongst some official Hasbro stuff. More like they needed another coat of paint.

Other then that, if your handy with a screw driver, you can pretty much fix most QA issues that come your way. I had to take apart Ratchet since he was misassembled (but I think I just had bad luck), and I took apart Grapple to see if I can tighten some joint, which I did a bit by stretching out his springs. Having said that, for $30 or $40, I don't mind this activity at all. It's actually fun to take em apart and fuss around with them. At $150 price point, I wouldn't be doing that.

The thing for me, is really, I got all the above mentioned figures for a grand total price of $240 shipped. Compare that to the $700+ price point for the same list, there is no comparison and it quickly becomes a no brainer.

Depends. I am 40. I am always on a budget. Between the mortgage, the bills, the car payments and saving for my sons college, I also have fantastic surprises like my ceiling leaking in November and needing a whole new roof which cost me $11,000, or taking up a couple of boards on my deck, and the joists coming up with the boards from all the rot, that I need a new $12,000 deck.

So while I would love to have a budget that fit the price points that are being asked, Life is WAY too expensive by comparison. So I rather spend $50 where it is normally $150, whether it be with Transforming toys or anything else of the sort.

There are the Open and Play Galvatron and Spinger. They are essentially KO's, throwing together parts from other company's releases to make their molds.

    Ah, that is so cute.

So my Karma is fine exactly what it is.

    My money goes to:
    - My mortgage, so that I don't need to live at home with my mom and dad to pay for originals.
    - My bills
    - My sons college education, so that I can produce a functioning member of society that will work instead of live off the system.
    - My retirement, so I also don't need to live off the system.

Then, when I have left over. It goes to vacations to keep me sane, and a hobby which I have. In said hobby if there is a 1/4th the price alternative for me to purchase, I could give 2 fucks less if it's a KO or not.

By the way, how's your Karma doing knowing that these things are made in slave labor factories by children? Shit, you get what you want, so you ignore that huh?

    Thank you kind sir.

Was I talking to you? No...

And I certainly don’t give absolutely one shit about what he does with his money. I’d be a hypocrite if I did.

Since you seem to have a chip on your shoulder about it, I was being facetious. I own many KO’s.

Those children make good shit. So let’s not buy anything ever again, and think of the children.
