I got ahold of some pretty "rare" pieces tonight and was wondering just how uncommon they may be and some sort of value. I'm not really looking to hold onto to them since I don't collect MISB stuff. It's all factory sealed. The Soundwave is in pretty nice condition. Thundercracker is still tape sealed in the jc penney box but is beaten up a bit. The jetfire is the macross version and probably the least exciting of them but still don't know really what it might be worth. Any help/guidance would be appreciated. Don't really want to test the auction waters without knowing what it is possibly worth.

Yeah man, that Jetfire, not worth much at all. I'd take it off your hands for $30 and shipping.

I jest, I don't know the value of these but I'd say at least a few hundred for Jetfire. I'll let others weigh in though

    Awesome find!

Where did you get those from? That's a crazy find! The Jetfire, if unopened, is probably worth the most out of all of them, but I'm not sure exactly how much the current going rate would be.

People would give one of their kidneys for a G1 Jetfire. A sealed Jetfire may as well be worth the price of both.

Original G1 MISB items will always command great prices. There's guys in the AFA (MISB toy grading and preservation in plastic tombs) topic who will probably be more knowledgeable about pricing for G1 sealed items. It's a pity that the way these were packaged in the outer cardboard, folded over the top-flap: that really dented their value unfortunately, even if the outer cardboard JC Penney boxes add a little extra curiosity value.

The Thundercracker's value will be least, due to the beaten up character of the box: it'll not be worth AFA'ing at all due to the damage. Here's a finished auction for an even more damaged but unopened Thundercracker: $449 (but just one bid). Your's might end up a little higher, pehaps at $450 - $550.

G1 Soundwave is a fan favorite: but he's common and not extremely rare to find even MISB. I'm guessing it'll fetch between $450 and $650. Flap-damage hurt that one, because the rest of the box looks great.

G1 Jetfire is in fact probably the most interesting. Macross variant is the rarest version of Jetfire, and the fact he still looks very white definitely adds to his appeal. Box looks slightly beat up on the corners, and I can't tell if the flap was folded over like Soundwave's is, but again, probably not worth AFA'ing. Still, I'd like to think the value will be between $750 and perhaps $1000 for him, maybe even higher on the right day?

Again, all these value estimates are ball park figures: there's plenty of guys here who'll also have ideas about their worth. However, I'd be interested in buying any of these from you BTW; just shoot me a pm.

I got them off of fackbook marketplace
I bought them off of facebook marketplace. It wasn't cheap but I still think I got a pretty good deal. They are all sealed. Also got a shockwave but I think I'm keeping him.

Yeah I knew thundercracker is pretty well worn. I think the boxes were the most interesting part of the whole thing. I personally haven't seen anything packed with jc penney boxes adding some sort of uniqueness to them. Jetfire's left corner does have a nice bump to it. Other than that he is pretty darn solid. You are correct nothing worth sending to grade. I am planning on selling them once I can determine a fair price. Nothing extreme but fair:)
