Spotted these at TRU Robinsons Ermita. They're starting to trickle to other TRU branches as well.

Voyagers- PHP 2300
Leaders-PHP 3500

a real step up in pricing compared to previous toylines.

 

@Kotori Sonoda how much were the prices before?

 

For TLK/Titans Return, the prices were:

Voyagers- PHP1500
Leaders-PHP3000

(for POTP the voyagers are price 1600 but leaders still at 3K)

so the pricing on these studio series figures are more expensive than what I'm used to.

As a Filipino collector, I'm still sad about the price increase when compared to the POTP line's which I'm used to.
I can still stomach the price of SS in Leader Classes since it's a 500 peso difference and knowing how "premium" Blackout and Grimlock in this line.
But the SS Voyagers? their price took off a HUGE LEAP of 700 peso difference from the POTP voyagers.
From the looks of it, the SS Deluxes could be priced around 1,300-1,500 pesos or around Marvel Legends prices, worst case scenario Mattel Multiverse prices of 1,800 pesos. I hope not.

Anyway, TRU Philippines made an announcement of reservations of the toys but they requirement a reservation/downpayment fee.

So I wanna ask fellow TF fans outside Philippines..
What's your take on the price increase of SS compared to the usual pricing compared to current CHUGs?

 

I say we're being ripped off, but I think nearly everyone will agree with me on that.

 

Agree with your sentiments. Seeing the price increase, I don’t think I can afford the entire line now. I did not expect the pricing to go up that much, especially the voyagers. It’s a shame, cause the figures look really good for this line...

 

This line went from "BUY EVERYTHING!" to just "buy just a very few of them"
I'm likely to pick up Optimus at least....

 

Looks like I won't be getting any SS figures now, except maybe Jazz and Lockdown or if I miraculously find these on clearance. Was super excited to get Optimus and Starscream since I don't have any decent representations of the bots that got me into Transformers over a decade ago, but the price just sways me away from getting any of them.

 

Is he also in Toy Kingdom?

 

I've seen posts in FB that the voyagers and leaders are now available in Toy Kingdom as well. just last night someone posted a sighting from Toy Kingdom SM North Edsa The Block.

And I'm currently eating my words, I bought both OP and Screamer, i want the whole MV1 cast....

 

As per current observation, clearly the Leader Class have a high demand.
At most stores, Voyagers are easily spotted.
I have a hunch the deluxes are here, the distributor is just holding it up for some reason.
Probably they don't have enough shelf space to pay to the stores to accommodate the deluxes.

best solution, just put the TLK toys on clearance.
i just need Barry, Hound and Drift then I'm done with TLK.

Good god the prices were already high before....the new prices...WOW....

 

I'm just hoping they put the TLK stuff on discount already to make way for studio series. I'm holding out for discounts before picking up Crosshairs and especially Drift.

Titans Return got marked down first than the TLK stocks.  :

What's so special with the TLK line vs Titans Return?
Yeah, I know it's due to POTP that TR needs to be marked down.
But... Studio Series are already here. What's keeping the TLK line still in SRP?

 

Yeah, it's very baffling why TLK isn't discounted yet.
That said the Titan masters have just been marked down so yeah, maybe we'll just have to wait some more...

TLK Tiny Turbo Chargers are marked down already. 100 pesos each.
I hope it's just a matter of time.
