Hey folks! I've been away for quite some time. I took an extended leave of absence from customizing to focus on more important things. I have just recently over the last couple months started working on stuff again. Here is one of my latest projects in the works. Here is Masterpiece Motormaster! This one I decided to do an all metallic colors. The cab is built from a Kenworth aerodyne model kit. The cab was cut into eight pieces and then systematically reassembled with hinges and ball joints and the like. I used other parts from various figures including a Cybertron Optimus Prime as the base. I have plans to put an LED head on him as well as a light-up feature in his chest that is why I have no robot mode pics to show until those parts are finished. However the ultra mode is almost picture perfect at least in my opinion I think it came out well.
I really like how the cab is coming out. Nice detailing there. The only thing that stands out are the rear drive wheels. They seem misaligned or crooked. Hard to tell.
The wheel guards are misaligned only because I didn't put them back straight. They are actually really tough to straighten out lol
