According to TVTropes this was his last time voicing the role.

I wish they had completely recast at that point. Or at least hired someone to do a new take on Lupin instead of a soundalike. The new guy spends all his energy doing an impression of Yamada with no energy left over for actual acting. The new guy's voice is never not distracting for me.

    A Quiet Place- 9/10

One of the most suspenseful, tense and effective thrillers I've ever seen. Very tightly written too, lots of subtle things set up that are eventually paid off. Being able to accomplish so much in only 90 mins and a PG-13 rating is incredibly impressive.

Lupin the Third: Farewell to Nostradamus:
We go back to the theatrical movies instead of TV movies. And right off the bat we have a child character setting the tone of this movie. Kanichi Kurita is the new Lupin, and he's not that good. He's just doing an impersonation of Yasuo Yamada that makes him sound like he's hitting puberty with his voice constantly cracking.

Since there's a child character this movie is one of those that portrays Lupin in a more heroic manner. Even the main conflict isn't that much interesting. Just someone who wants to be a president instead of saving his daughter.

    Power Rangers (2017)

I was totally ready to roll my eyes, dump on this thing to declare "yet another nostalgic property modernized for a quick cash-grab" and yet, colour me surprised, I genuinely enjoyed it!

Not a perfect movie by any means, and not even "great" status. But very good for sure. Found there to be MANY similarities to Man of Steel, and I was one of the few who liked (but not loved) it despite all the faults. Very dark both in tone and literally with the lighting, pacing takes its sweet ass time before our hero(es) fully take form, a showdown where the town pretty much gets destroyed...I could go on. Main difference though is PR is still able to keep things fun and for the most part enjoyable.

While they may have spent a tad too much time developing the five teen characters, I appreciate the effort nonetheless and it's easily leagues better than the Saved By the Bell level crap we got from the original MMPR show. All five are really strong and the comradery between them feels real.

A damn shame it did so poorly at the box office, wanted to see what they could do with the origin story out of the way in the potential sequel(s).

    Final score - 8.3/10

    Rampage - 8/10

Generally loved how much of a classic monster movie this is. :)  Not to mention it does an interesting job on handling a game adaptation that had no plot to begin with but made something cool out of it even with some flaws.

Rampage: could this be? I think this was actually more entertaining than the King Kong reboot. A solid 9/10.
Jumanji 2: the kids loved it... and I did too. Never liked the original! 8/10.

    The Not-Uwe Boll Rampage.

A lot of dumb, a lot of fun. Dwayne really sells this film. CGI is pretty solid on the monsters. Destruction is quite total. Acting is solid. Unlike Tomb Raider, I thought this movie was a blast. Where Tomb Raider took itself way too seriously, this film found the perfect balance between goofy and serious.

Definitely better than that other Rampage film.

I'd say this definitely the best video game movie of all time. Beginning that it is actually good. And good for legit reasons. And not because Mortal Kombat is hilarious, or Street Fighter makes a great Gi Joe parody film. Or the Tomb Raider film being just "average" at best, thus being hailed at being the best of all time. When it really wasn't all that good. This film is legitimately good. And not just because the bar has been set so low, that they all made Tomb Raider look good by comparison. But because it is good.

8 out of 10. Lots of fun. There is some dumb here and there, but it was a great over all film. It's also super short. Tomb Raider could have used a shorter runtime.

    Akira
This movie contains the kind of animation that I really miss from anime nowadays. I mainly enjoy how raw and detailed each animation frame looks in this film. Also whenever things explode, it's done to nice flashy effect and it makes the animation lover in me excited. As for the story, I think there is a lot of sentimental value with how it reflects post war situations and that there is a lot to think about after the war like it affects culture and lifestyle. The bond between Kaneda and Tetsuo is also good. This movie is still inspiring our media today and brings a lot to the storyboard table.

Solid little comedy. Cena is funny as hell again in this one. Got a little preachy in some spots, but overal it was pretty good.

Missed this in the theater thanks to work and being in the middle of a move. Always wanted to watch it on dvd but never quite got around to it. This movie was absolutely perfect in every single way. Easily the second best movie in the Rocky franchise, second only to the original. As soon as it was over, I immediately felt like watching it again. Fanfreakingtastic.

Whoever directed and wrote this script, I hope these people never go near another Marvel movie ever again. Were they trying to make this a freaking comedy or something? So disappointing and beyond corny almost for the entire movie.

A simple premise and nothing that groundbreaking, but an enjoyable popcorn flick for monster fans.

Such a tremendously solid giant monster flick. The first hour was pretty fun, but that last act was awesome. I suppose the only real negative I can say was the the villains might as well have come from a different movie. Everyone else seemed to be behaving in genre, but this duo came across like the just walked in off the set of VR Troopers or something.

At least their deaths were satisfying.

Overall, a big surprise for me.
