Already saw a few of these posted so I hope people aren't tired of seeing Leozack/Liokaiser customs XD

Steam Shield's Bot Foundry on Shapeways designed some incredible head pieces for the POTP Starscream mold and I just had to make something with them. Mostly because I was left pretty underwealmed by the Deathsaurus combiner torso for the Hasbro Liokaiser, but also partially due to the face that SSBF's designs have always been of amazing quality in the past.

If you're at all interested in turning your POTP Starscream into Leozack/Liokaister, I've included links to where you can get the heads. I'd recommend Black Hi-Def Acrylic for the material.

Damn this looks nice.

But tbh I prefer the Lynx combiner body instead of the SS one, mainly because of the placement of the wings on the SS torso (it's like, too low)

 

This is right beyond perfection! Good eye and excellent execution of the project.

 

Damn it Now I have to pick up a POTP Starscream and try my hand at this. While I had how "puffer fish" like the torso mode is with this mold (I prefer the swapped around backside as the front) you made that side look incredibly good.

This looks VERY cool - sheesh, now I have to get Liokaiser set - haha!
What did you use to mask off the different sections for painting.
Which paints and colors did you use?

 

If ONLY this gets a release, like that, as a set. The already weak-sauce Skylinx mold was even weaker still as Liokaiser.

The blue is a mix of three different paints I use. Model Master insignia blue, zinc chromate green, and some flat white.

I didn't mask anything off. Everything I work on is hand painted and the little details are done with nothing more than a thin brush and a steady hand  

I mostly use Model Master brand acrylic paints, and it's hard to give any specific colors used as, like mentioned above, I mix a lot of the paints I use.

 

Possible to get some closeup pics of the new Kaiser head? I just bought one.

 

The images aren’t showing up though but I’m sure it’s great. I think I need to go and do this after seeing so many.

Does the head work well on the body? I’m wondering since it was designed for CW cyclonus specifically.
