If I remember right, the first Movie figures were in scale, with Ironhide and Ratchet being bigger than Bee and Jazz. And the car modes looked to be better in scale than most of the Transformer lines. I remember thinking that was cool. The decepticons though, Starscream, Brawl & Blackout, not so much...

Ok, if you are looking for 'In Scale" figures, you probably aren't a real Transformers fan....like any motorcycle released EVER in the DELUXE/WARRIOR class...or JETS...just saying

It's amazing, the decepticon pretenders are the only thing that really amazes me. But hey, I'm really looking forward to these.

My favorite Brawl is still this one:

For all of its semi-doofiness, it did many things better than the regular deluxe AND the leader.

...Okay, yeah, thanks. Been a part of this fandom since I was three, collecting Transformers non-stop my whole life. I wouldn't be anywhere near the same person I am without Transformers. But I guess I'm not a "true fan" since I prefer figures with logical scale. Silly me, now I know I really don't love Transformers. Thanks for that.

Way to just insult fellow members of the community.

The last thing I want to do is insult anyone...all of my posts are normally about how big a geek I am towards Transformers since forever and they are almost always in a joking manor. Sorry you took it the wrong way, I was just having fun with the the SCALE complaints.

Sigh. Remember sarcasm doesn't come through in text too well.

I wonder how much longer it will be until we get an in-hand review of Brawl.

That's my favorite part of his entire ROTF design—just because the Movieverse makes a big deal of hiding robot parts and there is Megatron with his head literally sticking out of his alt mode. Imagine a tank with a 4 foot face staring at you. It's absurdly creepy and I love it.

Hadn't thought of it that way, but now that I have, LOVE it!!

Bee used to be my favourite character, but now it seems the throne has passed on to someone else ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

One thing I think people are kind of ignoring, is that I'm 100% sure Bay adjusted the characters' scale in different shots, so saying there's a "definitive" scale is kind of BS. I watched ROTF again when these guys came out, and you can clearly see differences when say, Optimus kicks Starscream, then Megatron and Starscream are in a shot together, and then finally when Megatron and Prime are in a shot together toward the end. It's classic Bay--a mess. Just like how when parts get "punched or kicked off" in different scenes, the damage in a frame a few seconds later is a little different.

If you don’t mind mixing figures from different lines and size classes, it’s amazing how close you can get to scale accuracy. Sure, this is a mass market kids’ toy line with very defined size classes - but it can be a fun challenge to put together collections and line ups that match fictional scales.

Yes, that's how he's in the movie. If that's not odd enough, you can actually see his eyes glow in alt mode:

Well I just ordered Studio Series Brawl because while the Megs look good, I much prefer the TLK version to this and I've been wanting a decent Brawl toy since the first movie. Should have it by tomorrow so I'll try and take some pictures and give my impressions on it for those unsure.

I still like the deluxe deset version best.
The new voyager looks pretty good, but I'd expect a voyager with such big feet to have ankle tilt and his shoulders look disproportionally tiny / thin.
