Looks pretty cool. I wonder how tall it is in bot mode compared to the standard CHUG Motormaster.

 

I never got the hatred for CW Motormaster. He\'s one of the very few torso bots that even has a waist. I think he looks great, and mine\'s pretty stable in combined mode. He\'s probably my favorite combiner bot other than maybe Rook. 

 

While i really liked the cw motormaster as a bot, his torso mode made it the only team i didnt want to display combined. This looks way, way better, even if you take into account any of the addons for cw menasor. Sure, its a little chunky in torso mode and kinda derpy molding in bot mold....especially the head...but a lot of that is carry over from the g1 toy. This really is an update of the old toy and even gets a lot of its transformation queues from it. This is exactly what ive been waiting for from a 3rd party. Wonder at this point if it will have toy colors or animation, either works for me.

On the motormaster head, they just need raise the chin up and give him some neck molding. Keep the fec from looking elongated but keep the whole thing boxed in.

Also, the menasor hands are kind thin, but there are other options at this point.

 

Ive never bought 3rd party before, but if they give us a good Leozack and Jallguar, I may rethink my policy. CW Liokaiser was simultaneously impressive (paint apps) and disappointing (evil Sky Lynx) for me.

I think combiner wars motormaster is an excellent stand alone figure but his torso mode is a bit wonky both in the shoulders and his hips. The perfect effect kit works great to make it look better, but only as long as he is standing in a neutral pose. This motormaster looks ok in bot mode except the head. He looks great in torso form and I think the combiner head is spot on (with paint added of course). I would like to see more of these types of ko's. Try superion, defensor, bruticus. I feel that most of the limb bots are ok as is but the main attraction for me with these are the voyager replacemets.

 

Waiting for one of these 3Ps to make a CW figure that *isn't* Motormaster.

Especially since CW was intended as a retail priced alternative for those seeking updated combiners.

I'm considering doing the opposite. I pretty much want this for the robot mode G1-style cab feet and Animated style head.

 

And here I still am wishing for an upgrade kit for Motormaster that gives him a better torso that's close to the Devastation game model. G1 torso is cool I guess, but it looks so out of place next to the other Stunticons.
