    Regardless of how you want to classify a new factory in India, my point (far) above was that a Hasbro factory in India is not necessarily going to have the same standards/problems that a Funskool factory is going to have.

    True. However, I don't think Funskool factory operated (for Hasbro products) since 1980s. I did saw some of their G. I. Joe variants back in 2009. After that, the sticker was just there since they do the distribution.

    My biggest hope is to see a reduction in price. Currently we are paying 3X - 4X the price in US. Transformers toys are actually considered as Luxury Items in a developing country. We've come so far for this... still a long road ahead of us to go.

    I really don\'t care where the toys are made.  Just as long as they don\'t call me and tell me I haven\'t paid my Transformer\'s toy bill, in Apu\'s accent.
