Finally got to posting this one - one of my favourites from when I got him a while back, and my appreciation of this toy has not dwindled over time.

Check him out: Beachcomber - Reflector @ TFW2005

This pic took ages to perfect! Looking back now, Cliff looks like he's fallen at the back, arg.

Nice shots. I had picked the guy up from my shelf literally yesterday, and was re-empressed by how amazing he is for his size. Yeah, he's got Hulk arms, but I don't mind.

One of my favorites from PotP so far. If they ever did a G2 metallic green version, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
The hole in the engine block that can peg in the Prime Master weapons is sweet, too (even though I know it is more for figure stands).

Really nice pictures Sol Fury. This guy is pure win all the way around. Have to say I'm impressed that they gave him silver painted wheel rims, someone from Takara must have sneaked into Hasbro for a day. But for me the best improvements are -- like Brawn and Seaspray before him -- the thigh swivels. That gives him huge posability and I love that they included that on some of these Legends figures. I wish Windcharger had those too!

Originally I wasn't going to buy him but I was waiting on my wave two figures to arrive and I was itching for a new figure to mess with and got him on a straight up impulse buy but I enjoy him. As far as the front page review goes he's definitely got the fun articulation and an undeniable g1 look but the only thing j disagree on is the clever transformation. I don't really see much clever about it it's very basic.

When I think clever I think of something unique like prime wheeljack's lower legs or something along those lines. Still.....I like beachcomber more than I thought I would especially for a figure I wasn't going to buy to begin with.

Yeah I don't see that happening other than the no-effort bumblebee recolor

I feel like the Optimus Prime remold of Huffer is closer to his original form than the Armorhide repaint of Huffer.

There should be a Beachcomber in every line and in every cartoon.

Who doesn\'t love little blue dune buggies?

Great figure, not just for me but I\'ve seen kids get a lot of enjoyment out of this one.

One of my favorite moments of the G1 cartoon. You're missing the smoking tree stumps and burnt out shell of a lake.

I have this little guy sitting in my office waiting to be opened. For some reason I just haven't gotten around to it yet. This gallery is making me more tempted to prioritize him over some of the bigger bots I've got still in boxes. Great photos.

Thanks! Yes, that scene is the one that always comes to mind when I think of Beachcomber - so that was one of the first pics I did for him.

Nice to know I'm not alone in not opening things - Sixshot, you will be opened one day!

Yes, 'tis true. Main reason why I've been a bit slow in getting galleries out of late, they take time to do and it's a precious commodity right now.

It's funny. I was just thinking the other day about how way back we'd all toss pictures into the single cool stuff thread of every toy we bought. Sometimes BUNCHES of pictures. I haven't even broken out the light tent in years at this point. Just not enough time.

I think the universe is speeding up. Or, at the very least, we move faster along the time dimension as we age. :)
