I did know it but I appreciate the heads up anyway. Designing weapon adapters will be easy enough as well and maybe I'll even shape them to look like a sword grip and gun grip. Once I've finished and made sure they work, I'll throw the files on thingiverse in case anybody else wants them.

As with any Taobao order make sure I would avoid the JCEX/USPS and UPS shipping option if the package is being shipped overseas to your address. Go with EMS instead. EMS is much cheaper since they calculate shipping charge based on actual weight and not volumetric weight.

Yes - however, there have been different versions, so depends which you want. Just a quick history run down on Reximus...

V1 - Comic Version (Chrome with blue-ish plastic head, hands, thighs - prone to bad paint/scratches)
V2 - Toon Version (Chrome with black plastic head, hands, thighs - prone to bad paint/scratches)
V3 - Toon V2/Reissue Version (Chrome with black plastic head, hands, thighs - good paint)
V4 - Japanese Version (Flat Dark Grey with black plastic head, hands, thighs good paint)

I may have missed some versions, but those are the ones I've been able to offer in the past. Can't remember if there was a flat/grey version released prior to V4 I listed. Based on my version numbering - currently only the V4 is available. I think the V4 is probably the closest to true toon colors (i.e. no chrome). Scale/size is also good - but may depend as that's more up to each collector.

You can probably find V1/V2 easily used on ebay or in the forums, but because there were some issues with paint scratches - it's kind of buyer beware. Get it for cheap and ask for LOTS of pictures. Alot of people probably dumped theirs when V3 came out or when FT Grinder came out. The v3 (which I have personally) is great and I'd never sell it. Currently it stands proudly and perfectly (at least to me) with my Gigapower bots and I feel he fits in AWESOME.

Just received my Reximus Prime. I must admit, I wasn't expecting the quality to be this good. All the chrome and gold parts are faultless, no dings or scratches to speak of. Painted areas are neatly applied. Plastic quality feels nice and solid. The figure has a real nice heft to it. When you hold it, it feels "expensive".

Transforming was a bit scary first time around - really need to apply force to separate the chest piece, but overall has a really nice flow. It's something I feel the more recent MP's have lost (complexity at the expense of fun).

As you can see, he's not quite tall enough to stand head to head with MPP10, but close enough for me.

For CNY300 (USD47), it's a great buy. Recommended.

This guy is phenomenal. I had MP-08 a while back but never ventured into OS Reximus territory until now. The G1 toon version is loads better than my old Takara version. Joints are tighter, the chest tabs in better, and the paint/chrome look great. I bought it for $100 from ShowZ and it's worth every penny.

I've also had Grinder and I still think the MP-08/Reximus mold has better all around proportions even with the high shoulders. I think the only improvement I'd like to see is the graphite face molded in black. The graphite looks sharp, but all black would be more toony.

I guess my next step is to get the Jream adapters and KFC Delta Magnus hands...

 

Agreed on all counts. I didn't get jream's adapters - instead I designed and 3d printed my own (it's a really simple design so it wasn't hard). Now I'm working on a sword grip (modeled after a photo of the grip on Grinder's sword) and I'll do a gun grip next. Painting the sword grip to match is going to be impossible but I'll try to get it as close as I can. I've thought about adding an led to the sword to make up for removing the one from his arm but I never use the leds anyway so I probably won't bother.

 

Got this guy today. Fantastic! And a beast. Gray is a perfect fit with the FT figures. I no longer feel compelled to buy Grinder.

I bought mine off Taobao, from a seller with the white UM hands listed. Asked him if he could get some black in stock and he sent me a pair even though he didn't have any in his store.
