The arms really aren’t bad. I think for how thin they got him was amazing.

I'm literally scrolling through these pics going "oooh" and uhhhh" at this glorious Blackout. I cannot wait to get this. The copter mode looks SICK too, like i was shocked at how accurate it looks.

Damn, I'm gonna go broke with this line.

 

The way the arms tab into the sides for bot mode are SO strong at first, I had to use a flathead to pop then out.

I anticipate lots of broken blackouts from this. I could have ripped that panel right in half. Its great so the arms tab in strong..but be careful the 1st time you TF it.

The rotor blades are pretty sturdy in chopper mode. I like that. Pretty slick how they did the head too..it slides down and fills in the bottom of the chopper. real clean chopper mode. looks like a nice model sitting on a desk. Recessed panel lines and rivets will make customizers paint this with a crazy accuracy like a nice model kit.

 

How are the hands attached? Would it be possible to flip them around backwards so they're "gorilla arms" instead of "Emperor Palpatine hands"? I think that would look better than how it is stock.

Is it possible to fold the refueling boom under the belly so it goes through that space between the chest and the hips?

 

I was expecting him to be a bit bigger, that pic of him with RotF Prime and Screamer was surprising.

But still, he looks incredible, easily my most wanted figure from the Studio Series line. Been waiting like..11 years for this.

 

He’s in Detroit and they’ve got Meijer's there which is where the first sightings were if I recall correctly.

I really hope EB Games gets the Leaders in. I doubt they will though, my local store is pretty small.

This guy is just sooooo photogenic!
Transformation on mine is tricky and arm panels don't line up, plus the presence of stress marks on some panels, but I'm willing to overlook them all out of sheer awe at this guy.

 

Blackout is the only figure I kept from the original movie. I can't wait to get this new one; It's a fantastic looking toy.

 

He looks absolutely amazing! How many inches tall is he in robot mode? If possible, would you be able to post some images of him standing next to other movie leader figures?

 

How does he scale next to Sixshot, Black Shadow and Overlord?
