Not sure about the plastic being the same as Cosmos. Since I don't have him. But the plastic is definitely better than that of figures like TR Slugslinger.  

 

Not a fan of him from teh knees to feet either I see? From the waist up I love him as is but I wish that he had a bit more shape to his feet and shin area.

 

Waist upwards he looks awesome. It looks like 2 separate toys meshed into one.

Got Grimlock from amazon today. He is not too shabby. Only real issue is hasbro cheaping out and not including any weapons. He only comes with the combiner feet and a prime thing. Is this a first voyager with no weapon?

Broadside has a weapon, 2 if you get legend version

The diaper dino-mode is disappointing; Still, Grimlock does have some charm.
Starscream, in my humble estimation, is the superior of the two. That's not saying a whole lot, though.

... I am worried about Rodimus now. Chefatron is one of the few reviewers that I trust (most come across like paid shills). I'm still interested in Rodimus, though.

 

I'm a Rodimus fan so I'll buy it, but it has some serious issues. I think Hot Rods legs/arms in Rodimus mode is going to be fragile. I don't see that surviving very long with an 8 year old version of me.

 

If any one lives in Tampa Florida couple of targets have the wave 1 voyagers, also titan return are on clearance so they ar super cheap now.

 

So glad I got Optimus Prime. He is awesome
