Yes.

If while in carrier mode, you leave Metroplex's kneecaps in their 'robot-mode' position, the red plastic that they connect to (which runs along his legs) has 5mm holes on the reverse side of it (the deck-side of the carrier mode). You can then mount guns into them.

While I don't have GoW3, I've tried this with Metroplex's standard black guns and it works pretty well. Plus, the holes run down the sides of the deck, so there's still some room to use the runway if you want to put other figures on it.

EDIT: This pic demonstrates what I mean (no doubt it'll work with TFC's guns as well).

Here's a thought, does anyone on here have both TFC and Before & After's Sixgun? Maybe you can see if all parts can be equipped/ pegged in at the same time? Not sure if his poor knees can handle the weight, but it might be fun experiment lol

 

I'm a bit late to the party (sorry for necro-ing the thread) but I just shipped my pile of loot containing TFCs Sixgun after much thinking and weighing pros and cons between him and BaA's.
Also ordered the reprolabel set for him. Really exited to sticker the guy up and give him to Metroplex!

Finally got mine a few days ago! Not a fan of its bot mode with those massive forearms and hands, but the weapons... absolutely incredible! Really completes Metroplex! Here it is on my Takara version with some of the paint details removed along with Superion I got on the same day! Looks incredible with g1 original Autobots! Now I want the x2toys white cannon for Metroplex's shoulder and g1 original Scamper and Sixgun! And a few reprolabels!

 

Just preordered Perseus for $199.99 and Gear of War 3 for $39.99. Should be fun to make this:

 

This set is very underated and I think it's one of the best sets for Metroplex. This set really does complete him though I'm still not a fan of the Sixgun robot mode

 

Does anyone have this for their Takara or SDCC Metroplex AND the DNA DK-04 foot upgrades?!!!

 

I wish a set like this would've been made for Trypticon. He needs Brunt.

Once the WFC:S figure comes out, I'm betting we'll see him hit eBay and the boards soon after.

 

The weapons on this set are nicer IMHO. I am planning on getting the Hasbro version, but more to display in bot mode.

 

yeah the upcoming siege one is going to be real small and not look as convincing for weapons on metroplex

 

I'd still take a Metroshot redeco of this or the B&A version if they wanted to make them (does Before & After still exist?). The Siege one is fine, but yeah it's a bit small for my liking.
