Historically, there has always been the person who said "that will never happen because....". Well, a lot has happened since 2010. With that in mind, I just thought this would be a fun little game of something that you would have heard in 2010 that you never believe would happen to TF collecting.

I'll start:

If some one told me that I would have a full set of G1, Classics and MP (3rd Party) Dinobots, I would have thought that hell froze over.

 

"You'll start collecting TFs again."

 

"People will stop bitching."

I still don't believe it now.

 

Masterpiece Beast Wars and Movie Masterpieces.

 

We were explicitly told Combiners wouldn't ever be a thing again, yet here we are, so that'd be an easy one. Same with Headmasters.

 

beast wars becomes just a little bit relevant to the live action movies

 

We will have a set of OFFICIAL Hasbro Headmasters that are some of the best Transformers to come around in years.

The bayverse figures unfortunely are srill alive.


And they have "MP" figures.

 

They’d make a Masterpiece Hot Rod based entirely on animation errors  

 

Not a surprise to get a full set of 3P Dinobots. That is precisely what 3Ps do.

What is REALLY AMAZING is to FINALLY get official versions of G1 Dinobots, it is still hard to believe and they gonna be very expensive in few time.

 

There will be an a huge amount of extremely accurate unlicenced transformers figures in all different scales. Not just add on kits, impossible toys and garage kits

MP Grimlock isn't big enough. In fact, a 3P company will make boots for him to wear so that he becomes big enough.

 

Official Leader class Phase Sixers. Overlord splits in half to transform, like he ought to, and Six Shot does all six modes including the gun (if not on paper).

War for Cybertron gets a sequel with Dinobots, Metroplex, and Combaticons. Years after that, there will be a friggin amazing G1 video game with god damn cel shaded character models and original voice actors.

Titan Class figures. Figures! As in more than one!

There will be a triple changing Voyager Springer good enough to make a lot of people sell their Warbot Defenders.

Ever wonder what Powerlinking would have been like with 3 Transformers instead of just 2? Takara gives that idea a Go.  

LIVE. ACTION. DINOBOTS!!!

The Generations toyline keeps going, later turning out a whole subline of new Combiners, with voyager bodies and deluxe limbs that start getting dull about half way through somehow.

Headmasters. Headmasters everywhere.

There will later be toys made for each of the original Primes (of which there only twelve in the new continuity) and they'll be only an inch tall and packaged with pretender armor.

There will be a new Optimal Optimus toy that can ride a surfboard made of Optimus Primal.

 

Fortress Maximus features in a new series made by Machinima, where the new stand in for Spike, Emissary, is voiced by the green Power Ranger. This show also won't be any good.

 

Takara will release an MP beast wars toy you will have to get a mortgage to afford
