How common is wave 2 in an Argos - I tend to not waste my time with that place - but I may go look if wave 2 is common enough to bother - no one seems to have wave 2 aside from the odd ASDA months ago and no where near me.

 

I never could find series 2 anywhere.

 

The clear car showed up regularly at FiveBelow stores. But the weapon reveal car, I don't think ever saw release. I think only wave 1 of the weapon reveal cars saw limited release in Europe. Hasbro's distribution for DOTM ducking sucked ass! It was abysmal!

Oh they most certainly did not. Not for these, at least. But to my recollection Hasbro has never had "Autobot Dino" as a registered name to use. And given the Studio Series' current goal of filling holes in collections, and its willingness to shell out for vehicle licenses, I would very much expect a properly named Dino with Ferrari alt mode to be a possibility.

It just seems like such a waste to file for a new name for a tiny turbo changer alone.

 

As I expected, no explicit spoilers. Neat line-up though, I'm quite glad to see Sentinel and Evac in particular. I feel like Evac had too decent a design to only get one retail toy, and I guess this amends that? That is, unless it's the helicopter one from RotF, but I like him too.

 

Oh cool. Even if it wasn't, I wouldn't mind that much, but I appreciate the credit. ;-)
And I'm lookin' forward to some of these guys too.

 

Very limited one, absolute drizzlecrap distro. Here around Seattle I only saw ONE Chopter that was in my hand for a minute and when I set it down again was gone forever. Anybody got a spare of this guy they wanna part with?  

 

I also very much hope that they will launch the Studio Series Dino, but I am afraid that he may be the same as Bumblebee..... petite

 

I really hope its The Ride Evac, and not Chopter Evac. But the latter is more likely since its a repaint.

 

My Target got Series 2 of the TLK TTCs, though that was soon drowned out by a full restock of Series 1.
(last I checked, they actually still had Squeeks hanging around; I think people just saw a whole lot of the red logo and gave up)

Anyways, this new bunch seems kinda boring. I was hoping for more unusual stuff like Frenzy and the Doctor, oh well.

 

Thats what hasbro had to name him if they wanted to make merchandise of him and they also named him that in the dotm video game

 

Not only is it Mirage and not Dino, plus the toys are Speed Stars, not the main Hasbro DOTM/AOE/TLK line.

Mirage and dino are the same character just like nitro and nitro zeus

 

Nitro Zeus is an extension of Nitro.
Mirage and Dino are applied to the same character, but are not the same names.

 

You know i have heard a rumour that stores in the UK with mountains and mountains unsold of wave1 tinyturbochangers plan to gather them together and throw them in the sea in order to build a bridge to France - there by circumnavigating Brexit. For real.

Wave3 looks alright, if any of the wave2 got repeated it needed to be squeeks number1 on the list. Hopefully lockdown has the face instead of the mask. Otherwise pretty excited for 07 first movie autobot cast and sentinel and more of the dinobots i guess.

@Max Tower, argos never got wave2, they just broke the first pictures of wave2 but wave2 has not really been released. I think a total of two tfw members found a handful but nothing else since.

 

I wouldn't consider the Tiny Turbo Changers a main Hasbro line any more than Speed Stars were. And as far as movieverse is concerned, Dino and Mirage are the same character. The bottom of the speed star is Dino's bot mode and that weird legion Sideways repaint in Prime style packaging sold as Mirage has Dino's face on the packaging.
