I swore that I posted this, and I've checked my alerts to see if anything was removed (nothing there), so I'll post the link again. I'm SURE the site gives alerts if posts are removed, right?

Anyway, suitable for work scans of the comics for these figures are up. I'm not sure if there is a separate thread for these, so mods, please let me know if there is (and move accordingly) :

    - Scans of New Takara Transformers Legends Pack-In Manga LG61, LG62, LG63

Maybe you posted it in an lg61-63 thread? I can't imagine why your post would be taken down

Separate toy/comics threads? I wasn't really paying attention that much, so it's all good. Cheers for the help!

EDIT: - Ah, yes, silly me. Here they are:

    - New upcoming Legends/Movie the Best figure list

Ah yes, couldn't fathom why anyone would have taken that down. Thanks for posting here too though, not following the other thread so would have missed them. I'm only getting LG63 from this wave.

    Aaaaand these also just arrived!

My next set of Takara Legends figures is here and I probably dig them more than the last one. Let's start with Bumblebee whose richer yellow colour I prefer over Hasbro's. This is my first experience with the mould and while I wouldn't exactly call it "great", is also not bad. The kibble in the front of the shoulders is a bit obnoxious but you get used to it rather quickly while the lack of thigh swivels is a bit disappointed but I don't miss it as much as I expected. This is pretty much the kind of figure you grow fond of the more you play with it. I also gave him the Dr. Wu gun from their Legends set and it fits pretty well with him.

    20180211_084241[1].jpg
And here he is along his Minibots teammates (all with their Dr. Wu weapons of course). I wasn't initially that interested in getting a Minibots collection since I already own a few bigger versions but they look so well together that I just want more of them.

And they look pretty well in vehicle modes too while the Dr. Wu weapons have nice storage in these forms.

Here it is with its previous most popular version. Henkei Bumblebee was pretty good for its time since, while it was bigger than expected, he was also short enough to go along with the rest of the line. I'm surprised that Legends Bumblebee doesn't improve the articulation at all but the good thing is that he does have better proportions than Henkei BB and has actually less kibble despite of the already mentioned ones on his shoulders. Also, the Spike Titan Master is good but the clear plastic scares me a bit.

Perceptor is the kind of figure that looks really good and had the potential to be much better than it actually is. Why? Because while it has perfect proportions, great and versatile accesories, inventive transformation and clean look, all of it can come apart pretty easily due that his shoulders don't look into place which makes it hard to pose, not to mention that his knees are made in a way that if you bend them too much they look broken in two. In terms of paint apps, there's not much difference with the Hasbro version so I can't recommend this over the other. The TM vehicle looks great though.

Here it is with his previous version and I honestly thought I was going to love Legends Perceptor better but sadly, he's still pretty flawed. United Perceptor's chest locks into place better than the RTS version but is still not really secure while LG Perceptor's shoulders don't lock into place either. United Perceptor has more kibble but better articulation surprisingly. Is a shame we haven't gotten the perfect interpretation of the character yet.

Slugslinger is yet another good remould of Triggerhappy, I'm surprised at how much they can do with a good figure. The look is pretty interesting and the paint apps are solid although I don't necessarily consider them better than the Hasbro figure and while Targetmaster is neat, just like in Triggerhappy's case I also miss the weapons that come with the Hasbro version.

    20180304_141720[1].jpg
And here it is with his brothers. Great team and they looks surprisingly distinct from each other while at the same time following a similar theme. I have tried the combined fan mode but to be honest it only works with two of them since if you add Slugslinger it becomes a mess.

    20180304_142226[1].jpg
Finally there's Octane and I'm happy to say that he far exceeded my expectations. He's pretty much the perfect incarnation of the character that I wanted for a long time, the Deluxe Henkei version was okay for its time (and I wish it would have been used for another character) but a greatly-done Voyager-size Octane is pretty much what everyone were asking for.

    20180304_142449[1].jpg
And it gets even better since Takara were ingenious enough to include such a cool addition like Ghost Starscream Titan Master and create a few extra paint apps to fit with this mode. The clear plastic scares me just like with Spike but still this is one of the coolest accesories that I've seen in a while.

To conclude, here they are the three Decepticons triple changers (Takara Generations Blitzwing with the Dr. Wu upgrade and scythe and LG Astrotrain with the Perfect Effect Kingbat weapons). They look really neat together, I decided to keep TG Blitzwing since he actually has better articulation than the recent LG version and the Dr. Wu upgrade fixes his shoulder problems.

Overall, really satisfied with this purchase and I'm happily awaiting the next one.
