He looks kinda creepy but then again, Springer smiled a lot in the cartoon IIRC.

 

I def can’t say I like Apache better than Bigspring. From the back, Apache looks like a ninja turtle. Of course bspring has a face lift making him easy on the eyes. I wish someone could shapeways me some feet add ons.

 

That Big Spring with Apache head is the best look going IMO. I would rather have FT paint, perfect greens, and finish but I have to settle for this.

 

As much as I loved Big Spring, Apache looks the part. Once I get mine, I'm gonna remove the grey paint on the face and make him more cartoon accurate.

 

Lighting has a massive effect on how good Springer looks. Under more natural lighting conditions he looks much better.

 

I still like Allen. It's like someone 3D printed the Floro Dery designs but in a good way. Apache will just look better next to the other FT Movie cast.

 

You know, I have both. I could see where Apache is the movie version and maybe some of the better season 3 animation episodes. Where Allen could be the AKOM or lesser TOEI(Only Human) representative. Much like how many are considering the two MP Hot Rods. MP-28 is the movie version. MP-40 is the AKOM. Just a thought. Random.

 

Man, did you immediately ask FT for a 'replacement' head as soon as Apache started shipping the first time?

I've always ordered extra parts for my FT items. I've done it at the same time I ordered the actual figure and sometimes later on. If the part or accessory is available you can order it. I've gotten extra guns, swords, faces, weapons, accessories, parts, you name it. Just about all my FT bots that normally come with 1 gun now have 2 so they can dual wield. I even got a an extra Lupus gun that I gave to Sovereign.....totally bad@$$.

 

I’ve gotten a lot of parts. He never said no. A member tried bt he said sold out. Technically Apache sold it quick so it may have been true. I think the guy is gonna ask again. I also pmed him about an extra gun for lupus. In the end it’s all money. They should know this won’t hurt business. Cuz even though I love my OpenPlay I still bought apache

He just replied and said no extra parts. Hmm maybe I did ruin it. This sucks as I do own all these ft figures.

The bottom pic really makes me wish Skyfire and Omega Supreme were featured heavily in season 3 especially since they are based on Cybertronian design.

Me too. I know season 3 was more heavily based on the movie characters and to promote them, but I would've loved to see interaction with Springer and Skyfire.
