Thanks! I'll have to go back and have a look at his engine again as well haha

That gun is from Dr Wu for the Sharkticons. I managed to get an off-color one for cheap. The gun grip has a tiny peg at the end thats supposed to peg to the shark mode below the bottom lip. It happens that Beachcomber has the same size peg hole in alt mode.

I'll also add that if Hasbro doesn't make a Flywheels to go along with Battletrap, I'm going to be one unhappy camper.

Especially since all it would take is some pretty simple retooling of the current Battletrap to get it done.

As a sidenote, I find it strange that Hasbro didn't include the fact that Battleslash and Roadtrap combine on their packaging. You'd think that would be a huge selling point for kids.

I think a retool of a tank out of a truck would be possible. Especially if they're doing the shared engineering thing. Do you have Roadtrap? The retooling could be changing the "shell" of the truck in the shell of a tank while re-using the inside "skeleton" of Battletrap legs/crotch and Roadtrap torso.

Flywheels in WFC... I don't think WFC will be strictly limited to Cybertronian forms, the majority of stuff released certainly will be, but I expect there will be a few items that don't fully fit the theme, just like the Skrapnel re-release not having any way to directly interact with a Primemaster inner bot.

But another option... what about just a straight repaint of Battletrap as Flywheels? Red helicopter Brown-Green SUV? I certainly want a jet and tank, but I think I'd still grab straight repaints if that option happened.

Seriously, I've bought everything in Wave 2, except the deluxes. All the Walmarts are still choking out with RID, while Targets have Wave 1 TLK...

Also, I only have Swindle of CW Bruticus, so what I'll do is this. I'll use Swindle, Dreadwind, Blackwing, and that Blast off exclusive for my King Starscream.

Also, sorry to double post, but I remembered something. I've bought all Wave 2 from Bedrock City Comics, so I'm betting that'll be my best option.

Anyone else going to use Repugnus as Inferno's limb? Maybe Jazz as the other leg?

I must admit, this is one of the things that drives me crazy about PotP. Even in the hypothetical scenario that the three rumoured figures do come out and are all combiner limbs the Inferno and Starscream combiners are still, by my count, going to be a limb short.

    Starscream - Blast-off - Dreadwind - Darkwing
    Inferno - Jazz - Punch/Counterpunch - Wreck-gar

Could be worse, I suppose. Just look at poor Elita Onefinite with her mere two limbs.

    PotP, I think you're silly.

It wouldn't be ideal but aside from the tank having treads and the jet having a cockpit they don't look too similar to any Earth vehicles.

If anything his tank mode looks like a crazy space tank.

That pic of Slash in Volcanicus' back looks like Ratatouille Transformers Edition.

I agree I'd want to see a full-on retool/shared engineering into Flywheels. I don't think it would be hard at all seeing some of the other retools/shared engineering has done. Like I said with the positive word of mouth and popularity of Battletrap from PotP not doing a Flywheels would be a huge missed opportunity for Hasbro. Plus we have seen them take Titan Masters and do proper figures of the characters. Swoop, Repugnus (Maybe), Brawn, and Grimlock so just because we got a Skytread titan master I don't think that disqualifies a new Flywheels in the future. Plus it seems like Hasbro lately has been very into completing sets (proper Combaticons, Monsterbots, even the May Mayhem combiner figures). I expect we will see a Flywheels it's just a matter of time.

I went back to the rumored figures on my want list (which I pulled from a rumor list that came out during Titans Return and his been spot on w/Battletrap and Grotusque among others coming true) and Flywheels is on the list.

So I'd say that chances are pretty good that we'll see a Flywheels figure made from a Battletrap retool at some point. May not be in the PotP line but, I'd say it'll happen eventually.

Edit: Here's a screenshot of the rumor list that I mentioned above. As you can see, ALOT OF these came true. The list came out very early in Titans Return. Flywheels is on the list:

    IMG_3410.JPG

I'm not sure why so many boardmembers are stuck on the WFC name meaning that all of the figures will have Cybertronian alternate modes.

Titans Return: Were all of the figures Titan Masters or Titan Class? Nope.

Power of the Primes: Are all of the figures Prime Masters or do all of them carry the title of Prime?

Then why would War for Cybertron be made up entirely of figures that have Cybertronian alt modes? The trend says otherwise. Especially when you consider the fact that Hasbro already made an entirely Cybertronian WFC toyline based on the video game. Been there done that. I highly doubt they do it again.

I intentionally said "if" because we don't know for sure. But Hasbro has implied that WFC (or at least its first sub-line) will have a focus on Cybertronian modes. And while not all figures are always part of a sub-line's gimmick (such as Leader-class figures not being worked into the gimmick of CW), Cybertonian alt-modes seems like a much easier theme to implement across all figures in a line. Plus, in TR, all figures were Titan Master-compatible in some way, and the same with Prime Masters in PotP. Hasbro generally wants a line's gimmick to be as universal as possible.

But for now, we of course don't know. I was just saying that if the first WFC sub-line is all Cybertronian modes, I'd rather wait a little longer to get Flywheels.

No, I just assumed, due to exclusives of the Prime Wars being connected to their respective lines.

Yeah, that drives me insane. I'm really PO-ed how we keep getting torsos with no plans of completing them. Luckily for me, in regards to Inferno, I only bought Smokescreen out of the Sky Reign wave, so I've got me another limb for Inferno. However, if the Wreck-gar and Repugnus aren't Combiner limbs, I may give Jazz and Smokescreen to finish out Elita-1.

I haven't bothered to find a way to connect Slash, so she just gets to piggyback.
