As a person who lives and works near their retail store and who sees their employees going out to local TRUs, Targets and Walmarts to buy up stock, I say to hell with them. Wait for more information before preordering from them.

very reasonable prices, I would be counting my days if I were you, TFSource and BBTS.

 

This might be an alt-deco set.
Like a red-chested Swoop, red-headed Slug, blue-eyed Grimlock although i\'m not sure what decos Sludge, Snarl & Slash woul have.

 

It's an overpriced bundle of the single-packed figures. No big mystery there, except ToyWiz banking on easily fooled collectors being eager to shell out their money.

 

I think everyone who keeps saying "this may be x" just read the title and looked at none of the posts pointing out the obvious.

 

G2 for the win!

 

That's interesting since the takeaway I got from the different interviews regarding CW and PoTP was that they were done with the G2 box sets. I guess I could see an exception being made for the Dinobots, but I'm bummed that we didn't get our G2 Devastator. Still holding out hope for Takara-Tomy mall or something but that's probably in vain. Still, if they are doing combiner box sets again, that has me curious about other teams.

Maybe I've gotten the wrong impression, but since not much has been revealed at toyfair and we know PoTP is ending this year, I wonder if some of the rumored teams will come out in a box set instead. Would love to see the Pretender Monsters or maybe even Seacons as box sets.

That might be raising my hopes up too much though.

And just like that, G2 hopes and dreams are shattered, and the world misses out on wildly colored dino-bots...Waaaah waaah waaaaaaaaahh...(although, I do like the chrome idea, but would not buy another set of these guys...)

So this should probably come down off the front page before more people buy into the speculation and throw $170 bucks at ToyWiz for stuff they've already got...right?

I mean, we're 5 pages in and people are still just replying to the headline like "OH MY GAWD I HOPE IT'S G2!"

 

But then poor innocent ToyWiz won't get extra sales
