Didn't I mention that this release has some deco changes and new lower arm & feet parts?

I collect rescue bots. A figure doesn't have to be advanced to collect and enjoy them.

When you collect movie figures like I do, and want the most screen-accurate painted versions, you gotta compare all releases, both Hasbro and Takara to the final film depictions.
Lots of research and youtube 1080p movie scene click-pause-click-pause viewings were done to figure it all out.
It gets to the point where some figures from either company are both right in certain regards to screen-accuracy and it becomes a choice of pick one...or both.

    Here's 3 examples:

    AOE Crosshairs:

The Hasbro Platinum version has the most accurate vehicle mode because the Corvette's graphics are on BOTH sides of the car unlike all the other releases(mass retail Hasbro and Takara version) in which they are only on one side of the car.
The robot mode is most screen-accurate on the Hasbro Platinum release. Sure, compared to takara (seen below) Has-Plat lacks the black on the upper torso, the silver painted lights at the shoulders, and has silver goggles instead of Takara's black goggles, but it gets everything else colored right, especially the feet, hips, abdomen and forearms when you compare it to the film's final cgi model.

    ROTF Ravage:

This one is tricky. Ravage's cgi model is so dark grey that it's hard to discern what is colored what.
Overall I think the single-carded Hunt for the Decepticons Legends Ravage is the best since he's all the same overall color, has goldish circles on the hip joints and has the metallic orange eye. Plus, he looks great with any movie Soundwave. Then it becomes a toss up between the deluxes, but I prefer the HFTD "Rampage at the Ruins" deluxe Ravage because he is overall the same colors and has a translucent orange light-piped eye. The deluxe HFTD Sea Attack Ravage has the gold circles on the hips, but his translucent eye is red and all that black and blue just looks wrong.

    ROTF Rampage:

Another either Hasbro or Takara...but Hasbro more so. The single carded Hasbro red rampage is just all wrong. It's basically a red version of yellow rampage. The HFTD "Rampage at the Ruins" deluxe is where it's at. He's got a screen accurate colored vehicle mode. The Takara one is close but it made the sides of the dozed arms red whereas they're grey on the HFTD Hasbro Rampage and on the film vehicle. The thing the Takara one has going for it in vehicle mode is the painted lines on the dozer which HFTD Hasbro lacks. As for robot mode, it seems like the HFTD Hasbro rampage is better but Takara is still good too. Like in the movie, it has a red head with silver "wear" marks on the red (Takara has a red head with the same silver paint mask as on previous rampage figures), translucent yellow eyes (Takara's are translucent orange), grey & red torso pistons (Takara are all red), and more detailed pogo-legs (Takara uses the same paint mask as on previous rampage figures). But it can be argued that the silver/red heads, yellow vs orange eyes, and pogo legs aren't much of a difference so....Then Takara gets those circle bits colored correctly at the bottom of the pistons by coloring them grey(Hasbro's are red), and they have red robot arms(Hasbro's are grey) but when it comes to the cgi Rampage model, his arms are both red and grey so either figure works. In instances like this, where differences are minor, it's up to you what you prefer. I personally prefer the HFTD deluxe ruins Rampage.
