Honesty don't know, I always send my pics to a friend who attends School of Visual Arts in New York. I assume he's using photoshop, or 3D Max? I know he's excellent at both. I'll ask when I get the chance.

Well looking at it side by side, it looks identical in color. The nice thing the contrast is much better on the Acrylic print, which makes the picture pop. On the website they explain what kind of printer they use, and metal paper. If Costco gives the same information on their set up, you could probably get a good comparison of which one is better.

I just hope they produce a diecast version of him to go alongside the 8" diecast LD.

I believe pages 326-329 have some entries that might interest you regarding bicep swivel...

Update to my Dark Go Lion situation :D  So I was able to get my crappy version of the Dark Go Lion returned. Got refunded after being belittled by Toyer City. Yay. So I went and talked to LCM toy who still had some left. I know the package is not sealed or taped so I asked Lau at LCM Toy to check on my copy before he sent it...that way we wouldn't have to play the back and forth game. He did. Nothing wrong. I got it in today!

    And.....

The waist is aligned! WOOHOO. Best of all...

It can rotate just like I thought it should be able to!!!

I'm gonna mess with it while I'm at work. But if you all want, I can take more pics and give my thoughts on it later after work (and workout...leg day sux).

So.. I also have an Ultimate Voltron Ex... Comes with only the sword and the shield. Are there other accessories that can go with this set (even if they are from another set) like the lion mouth swords/knives, etc?

The bodies of the lions themselves feel like they have die cast in em or are made of die cast. The legs of the lions feel like plastic. I took a good number of pics. I'll post em later.

Awesone! Lau is a good guy had a little mishap with my dark lion voltron and offered a solution very fast. I see they raised the price on it too, by $30. He gave a good deal ($260 shipped to CA). I'm still waiting on my colored version

Leg day is one of my faves. I used to hate it but now I love it.

Yeah, the $260 shipped was what he offered to me too with a free upgrade to DHL express. I like leg days too now...it's a great fat burning work out :D

Thanks man. I'm just happy to have a working product :D  I'll post up a quick (but kinda long post) feedback about it later. Very happy with this purchase though. I feel it's well worth the price.

I think the accessories from the Matty Voltron would work well with the EX Voltron.

Anyone with a complete set of Playmates Toys classic 84 Legendary Voltron have issues with the sounds not working properly after forming Voltron due to connection with red/green lions?

When attaching all lions to form Volton, I get the usual message for each one connecting. Then when all are connected, I get the long message from Keith about Voltron being formed and blazing sword and all that.

But the next time I press the button for a sound, it repeatedly says something like, "Pidge, where are you?" And if I even nudge the red or green lions at the shoulder connection, either Pidge or Lance will say their disconnection message. It's as if the toy thinks green/red lions are not attached, but they are. And any movement of the shoulders makes the toy say the disconnect message.

Just wanted to know if this is the case with all of them or if I should try exchanging my Classic Legendary Black Lion.
