Emiliano showed the concept art for all four of the wave 1 Titan Masters back at TFNation 2016. They were originally designed to be original characters, but Hasbro later decided to make them into existing guys and gave them new head modes. That's why their robot sculpts and partner drones don't really have anything to do with the character they represent, unlike later waves.

 

That's really neat.

 

Those guns on the tank look really familiar. Like we’ve seen physical guns with those same details before somewhere. On what figure though I can’t remember.

 

As nice as this is, I'm mostly fine with what we did get. I just wish we got a Transtector to go with the Titan Master.

 

I really like this, but I would’ve preferred this face to the one we got. And Nightbeat got the visored Siren face.

 

Wow! I like how the little Headmaster dude doesn't look like a Headmaster, aka just a block with a face on the back. He looks like his own robot. Or dude in a robot suit as the case may be.

 

Heads without bodies! Greatest thing ever! Next Hasbro needs to stick a leg in a box for $14.99.

I'd like to point out that you can see the face sticking face up in the tank mode.

 

You could probably just flip it around like the finished product.

 

You can always make your own till Has/Tak gets around to it.

 

Too bad that’s not what we got for Siren. Hopefully we’ll get a full bodied set of Nightbeat, Siren, and Hosehead in the future.

 

We do need an Ambulon  

 

Then Hasbro is like now make it 70% cheaper

 

Ugh, tutorial to make our own transectors please!! They look awesome! =D

 

So I'm guessing Titan Masters were gonna originally look like this! Interesting! :O They almost seem similar to the Prime/Pretender Shells with this design, although it's probably coincidence.
