It should have been 20th Anniversary Prime but I was going through my "I'm too old for toys" phase the one and only time I saw him. Fast forward ten years to when I spotted MP-01 Acid Storm while picking up WFC Shockwave and I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. A huge green Decepticon jet that I'd never even heard of. I made it as far as the check out before I turned around and grabbed one.

TL;DR Should have been Twentieth Anniversary MP-1, got Thrilling Thirty MP-01 instead. :D

He was reissued, just this last year I think. BBTS has him in stock for $160.

MP Prowl for the simple reason being that he was available at My TRU.

MP-2 Ultra Magnus in 2004. I was never a fan of the red and blue guy, so I skipped him.

Yes i was just browsing BBTS however i have noticed something lacking in the Masterpiece line and that is a Shattered Glass Sir Soundwave figure, the soundwave figure was created in 2013 yet no SG Soundwave?

MP-04, because he’s glorious. G1 Prime with hefty die cast and never before seen gimmicks, transformation, sweet articulation? Yes please.

My second MP was MP-13 Takara first release Soundwave. Still remains to be the choicest of the choice. :D

And my wish is for MP Reflector. I had the mail away as a kid and would love a cartoon accurate version of the trio.

I see MP Optimus Prime is quite popular hard to argue against that as it looks like a darn fine figure.
What about a MP Reflector that can take digital pictures it could have a little cord that can plug into
to upload to a device or your computer

I’d rather Reflector not have any auxiliary gimmicks. I’d be disappointed if it did. They hinder the overall figure.

The first one I pre-ordered was MP Bluestreak. I had recently gotten into figure collecting and was looking into collectible level transformers. The datsuns had been announced and I though Bluestreaks real-life alt mode and paint job looks fantastic.

Masterpiece Hot Rod 2.0 last year. I had always thought Masterpieces were amazing, but I had only collected or been able to afford retail figures before then. Saw him at an Arizona Comic Con type thing and immediately snagged him for 10 dollars less than retail price at someone’s booth. Since then the masterpiece collection has grown slow but epic. And, Hot Rod is one of my favorite characters so he was a great one to start with

I wanted an MP Shockwave that felt like playing with the G1 toy with modern articulation.

MP 14+ Alert, for the sole and single reason that it was the cheapest MP I could find on Kapow Toys at the time and it helped me get free delivery.
He's fun. Sure, he loses paint every now and again, and panel lines are everywhere to be found, but he's fun.

Hasbro MP Prowl, because he was on sale, and I thought - eh, just one, no problem, that's all I wanted anyway.

It didn't quite work out that way.

First masterpiece for me was the Walmart exclusive Skywarp. Mainly because he was the only Seeker I had when I was a kid during the Gen1 days.
