All of my parts were printed in Frosted Ultra Detail, replacing the White Strong & Flexible neck and back pieces I've had since last year. Fakebusker's cannon adapter is still White Strong & Flexible, but I'm planning to buy a new one in Frosted to ship with my next batch of models.

This is honestly the first Galvatron head I've seen someone come up with for this figure that I felt actually matched my mental image of Galvatron. Good work!

Insta-buy. What colors did you use to paint up the head?

This is the best looking head I've seen yet! If there's anything left to make for this figure, I'd say it would be replacing the shoulder pads, and making some sort of cover for the forearms, maybe something that plugs into that trapezoid shape and has a hinge for another panel to open and close over the fist opening? I think that would would really top it off.

There might be a better option out there for hand-painting that purple color but I'm not sure what it would be.

The eyes are Tamiya Red, the chin is Tamiya Gunmetal, and the face is a mix of Tamiya White and Sky Grey.

I wish there was a way you could scale this up for OpenPlay Big Cannon. D:

That is awesome! The edges on his face are so sharp and refined!

What program did you use to model the head?

Could you make an angry face for him too? :)

    Blender.
I'll think about it. I've never tried variant facial expressions before so it could be interesting, but at the same time I have a few other projects that take priority.

It's tempting to buy the neck joint but how would i remove my TR Galvy's current neck join?

You only need to take the torso apart and reassemble it. Start with the two screws in the pelvis and pull that apart(the hip panels and legs will fall out FYI), then take out the two screws in the shoulderpad hinges. The torso comes apart from there, and then it's just an assembly swap and putting it back together.

Incredible work! I have been trying to use software to make the head sculpt for my current project but without much success. I have ended up going old school and using styrene and apoxie sculpt. I'll have the figure on display at TFCON Toronto this summer in case anyone is interested. Not revealing full photos until then.

    I must echo these sentiments.
HASBRO almost gave us a near perfect Galvy; but we got this instead.

These pieces look to be exactly what Galvy needs to achieve the greatness that Has dropped the ball on.

All the links, all in one post.
