Don’t forget Captain Rex/Nik Sant now I know there’s still skeptical people but Dave is going out of his way to Ret-Con it, so that’s good enough to make it canon for me.
I severely doubt Kanan and Ezra will survive myself. There’s supposed to be a death in the two episodes tonight, at least I think. Maybe Zeb bites it, and then Kanan and Ezra die in the finale. I thought Sabine was strongly implied to be around after ANH, I know we’ve discussed this in this thread before, but I don’t care to research it. My current theory is: Spoiler Ahsoka became the new Sister of Mortis, representing the light side of the Force. Ezra has been scouted out by the Convors and by extension Ahsoka as of late because he’s been chosen to become the new Brother/Son of Mortis. This is why Sidious wants him because he knows he’s that powerful in the Dark Side. I don’t know about the Father, but the finale is titled “family reunion”. Maybe the show ends with Kanan dying, and Ezra coming the Son and joining Ahsoka and the new Father. OR Kanan himself becomes the new Father. That’s why these three were put together by the Force. That’s why these three went to Malachor, and why Ahsoka “died” first - just like the Sister did. The wolves are leading Kanan and Ezra to their destiny.
I wouldn't expect much death or finality in a last episode titled "Family Reunion." It's probably more likely that Erza's dead parents resurface and he flies off to live with them or something. Kanan is almost a non-issue since if he survives then fans will just retcon him as being a background character who couldn't help in the films because he was blind. Then there'll be some comic book where Kanan is helping train Luke in the background on Hoth. ...which I just said as a joke, but makes a little bit of sense as it helps fill in Luke's training with more than just a weekend trip to Yoda's place.
Oh shit Okay so wait a minute Spoiler The Daughter died first. Then the Father died. And then the Son. If by some crazy shit Kanan is the Father then my random theory may be right. Family reunion.
Five little Rebels standing on a fuel source, One blew up and became one with the Force and then there were four.
I just.....I'm speechless. I really wasn't expecting that to happen, at least this soon. Or maybe it was wishful thinking....thinks just won't be the same. But man what a way to go....
Amazing episode. Vanessa Marshall stole the show. Was in denial the whole second episode. Can’t wait to see whats next.
Is it me, or did the music get a little “predator” when he went invisible and Sabine switched to heat signatures ??
That was strong. I knew he's not going to make it and the episode still got an emotional response from me.
Spoiler I knew Kanan wasn't going to make it from the very beginning when he was meditating before cutting his hair. However, the build up and the execution were superb. Even the soundless end credits. Then they add that emotional hammer blow by having Zeb out of the loop and only seeing how much the rest of the team/family is hurt. Then on top of that, Hera's emotional honesty made her feel very authentic. Man, the voice acting of late has been on another level it feels like. Is it me or did Sabine's CG model get some tweaking? She seems more mature somehow. Or maybe it was just the dynamic lighting of the last two episodes.
Her figure and facial proportions were slightly adjusted too. She got similar treatment to Ezra, but not as extreme because she was already older.
Spoiler I knew he would surely die at some point. But I wasn’t expecting him to go in the mid season premiere.
Spoiler: Song is available now Fun fact, when this was momentarily available on the composer's site it was titled "Kanan's End." That's some Episode I "Qui-Gon's Noble End" spoiler level bullshit right there.
Any good quality shots of her? I can’t seem to find any good reference photos of her costume and helmet out there.
Spoiler Kanan’s End is actually a different one that’s supposed to show up in episode 13 (“A World Between Worlds”). Still, thanks for sharing that one!
For me her character is kinda stealing the show since the first episode. Along with Kallus (I really hated liking him so it was a relief when he switched sides). I also love Hera's CG model. It does look as if her facial features were more detailed than other females around her age. Makes the model more expressive and gives her more grounded look. Probably it's old news, but Hera is supposed to appear in Doctor Aphra #18.
