Will have to get this. Awesome that it is on vinyl. CDs are going out of style, but vinyl still lives on.
Many records include digital downloads of the album, so you may still be able to hear it.

Wait, if there's only on Opening Theme, does that mean it does not feature the Season 2 and Season 3 music? Do we get that as well? For me Season 3 is the best Transformers theme ever and I want that in high quality and also the music from season 3. While I have the movie soundtrack, the tracks there are just similar, not exactly the ones they later used in season 3.

    Anyway, I'm ready:

I’ll believe it when I see it on iTunes. Otherwise it’s never happening.

    Andrew ✈ @ker_fuffle
Rob Walsh has been talking about this for years. He produced a master and sent it over to Sony. I'm assuming yours is this one?

Wow, it's actually happening :music  :bay

But, like many of you, vinyl does me no good. Needs to be CD. If not, at least digital download.

Yay! Although given I'm not over 50 or a hipster, a vinyl release is pretty useless to me.

IF this is true, and IF it's available on CD, it's the best Transformers news I've seen in years!

PLEASE, PLEASE release on CD. This isn't 1984.

Listen, Youngster: I was there. Around that time LPs and cassettes were about neck and neck. Of course, vinyl was on its way out and tapes became dominant.
BUT this company isn't threatening to issue it on cassette as the only physical copy, so...

I refuse to believe they would go through the bother and expense of releasing this, only to use probably the least lucrative format. They can't possibly be that stupid.
So, a CD/digital release has to be forthcoming. It's just baffling they would promote the vinyl release and not mention other formats at all. Why curb the excitement by making fans think there's no point it buying it unless you own a record player? Just weird marketing strategy.

I hope it won't be sold only through their Web store, the shipping cost to Europe is crazy there.

Don't get worked up over the supposed format. It's never happening. This is Rob Walsh's annual "HEY! LOOK AT ME! I'M STILL RELEVANT! STAY TUNED!" publicity stunt.

If this is supposed to come out March 9 THIS YEAR, why are there no listings on amazon or other retailers?
Can anyone who attended NYTF confirm this is really coming out in 2018, NOT 2019?

Found this on Youtube. No real new information, but might be of interest to those just looking for an excuse to continue thinking about this.

I'd much rather have it on CD. I don't have a vinyl player. If you want to make it a retro 80s type release, then it should come on cassette anyways.
