I designed the sword to be in scale with Combiners so it shouldn't look too large for a leader class toy . I don't have Rodimus or Optimus yet so I can't show the comparison . it's been a dry spell over here . Lol and thanks!
May I make a request? A chaingun / minigun / 50 cal filler piece for the front connector hole of Battleslash's helicopter mode would be really cool
I'd be very interested in an adapter that plugs on to the two pegs on CW Optimus' combined mode chest and lets a prime master plug into that... matrix style or otherwise.
I'd be curious if there's anything that could be done to give PotP Inferno a way to store a Primemaster in combined mode. Though, the more I look at the Beast Blade in orange....I might actually prefer if the PotP Combiners had weapons that could hold the Enigma rather than it sitting awkwardly in their chest. Does anyone have one of these they could see if the Enigma sticks in there?
I can see some styrene pieces painted black and glued into the combiner's "tummy" area would work. As it is, it won't fit in there, the surrounding area needs to be built up some.
Alternatively: Build something that could plug into the ports Groove would typically use in armor mode.
I was keeping the idea of "place to plug thing into Hotspot mold" as in trying to keep to stock as much as possible and not "shapeways an adapter." If that was the case, I would have just said to cut up a useless "bathtub gun."
I get the difference, but if the maker of these accessories is already coming up with clever ways to integrate Primes/Enigmas within combiners...why not continue that route by developing an extension for Inferno that allows him to wear a Prime. That was also why I suggested coming up with a theme where each PotP torso bot gets a weapon for its combined mode that can hold the Enigma. Volcanicus's sword is a fantastic start, and I may actually consider buying one if someone can take a pic of it with the Enigma inside. Same goes for potential weapons for Elita, Starscream, and Inferno.
I much prefer the "Primemaster goes into a weapon" idea as it's like a homage of the Matrix supposedly the hilt for a sword. I love that idea. Also, for the Hotspot mode, maybe a new head piece that replaces the top half where the Primemaster could plug into to make it sort of like a crown.
I love what you've done, proving that the Prime Master concept can work, it was just kinda clumsily executed by HasTak. Something I would love to see is a Matrix frame that can hold cores/enigmas/Prime Masters that are like Big Convoy's matrix, with 5mm pegs on the sides, so it can actually be held!
These look great, especially that Matrix holder. I'd love to have one but I'm not keen enough on any of the PotP leaders to justify buying just for the Matrix xD And that Beast Sword looks epic. I think I might get one for my Volcanicus
