So Tantrum is now Torox. It'll take some time to get use to this. It'll be Tantrum to me no matter what. The set is a must buy for me.

not gonna lie, i would kill for model kit releases of normal TF's. Gimmi the sprues, screws, and pins and let me do it! Add a few alternate head sculpts in there while your at it and release each kit/figure in a couple of colors for mix and match and different characters.

holy shit now you have me drooling for something like this. it would be like convention custom class figures without the exuberant prices (hell and without the costs of assembly or paint apps they could be cheaper!)

Well, the G1 Terrorcons had a huge amount of kibble in robot mode, so I don't think much could have been done about that. On the other hand, maybe the designers of the PotP Terrorcons wanted to maintain some aspects of that G1 aesthetic?

I guess I'm confused, I thought toyfair would have been the place where the rest of PoTP is revealed. All we've gotten is some Prime Masters, confirmation on Predaking and Firestar. What would it be now, SDCC where the last waves get fully revealed?

I solved this problem by not having any other combiner besides UW Devy.

    #scalehack

No, seriously, how do you feel?

Sounds like medication. He's going to combine with Botox, Prozac, Tylenol, and Tums to form Pharmaceutical-King.

"Cleverly" "hid," that's a good one, particularly in the case of Headstrong and Tantrum ;)

I've been saying this for decades. I'd pay a (small) premium to be able to buy my favorites in un-built form. It'd certainly make painting easier to not have to figure out ways to remove the pins without destroying the plastic. And I love building things.

I'll be picking up predaking but as a masterpiece one and buy the upgrades that will undoubtedly come out for it. Thank god for Unique toys war lord and maketoys green giant so I can keep my chug scale intact . Its a shame Hasbro couldnt just of given us deluxe or a little bigger figures and just had extra accessories like the sword, extra wings for combined mode and maybe even catilla as a 6th deluxe to make up the price to make it a titan box set...

Or better yet.. WTH didnt hasbro make the volcanicus the titan and predaking the regular release? That we we'd have 5 dinobots that scale with chug. ...and then the predacons would scale with chug as well....

I'm still using Octane and Slag, so TANTRUM will be a welcome addition to the collection.

Very glad these are all Voyager-scaled. I can understand the desire for them to be Deluxes, but with how tiny the Dinobots are at Deluxe scale in order to combine, it would have possibly ruined the Predacons. The complaining is already bad, just imagine if they were all small! Besides, I look forward to the day I can take a pic of Springer riding Razorclaw into combat.

I keep UW Devastator with my MP's, and that's where this Predaking will reside as well.

But you still have to deal with stickers and partsforming. And we all know how people feel about stickers hear.

Have you guys ever seen the G1 Predaking next to G1 scramble city combiners? The scramble city ones look like midgets. I really don't get why all of you complain about the size knowing it is a toy company and Hasbro tends to go for toy accuracy rather than anime accuracy. I think he scales about right with the CW scramblers compared to the G1 Predaking with G1 scramblers.

People just got to have something to complain. Adding stickers and parts forming junk that often has offset colors for the price of 2 good figures to feel like they did something to improve their toy. And most of the time I am like... Is this it? When I see a review.
Paying good money for some flash ridden piece of plastic that you got to put a knife to, to make it fit.
I wonder do some of these people get paid by 3rd party to complain about Hastak releases?

plus, you know, scale being mostly thrown away constantly in the cartoon. Especially in season three.

I get the complaints about the size, though. Many want CW-sized stuff for uniformity, but Devastator and now Predaking are outside that box.
Still, having Predaking as big as the set is does make sense.

Oh I remember Broadside once squashed a Decepticon with mega size shifting. And Ultra Magnus picking up 2 Decepticons like he was holding 2 toy figures.

It does make sense. Predaking was always a big set. And the uniformity I understand kind of. But realize these are toys, you never get everything in scale unless you go Masterpiece and add 3rd party to it. There is no way you will ever get toy G1 ish on scale everything.
Also a lot of times you have size shifting. Take Soundwave/Blaster or so many others.

For those complaining about scale and wanting a Combiner-Wars-scaled version, you do realize that that would have been a monkey-armed Predaking with a Razorclaw that's a remold of some airplane-bot and chintzy deluxe figs for the limb-bots...we fans seriously dodged a bullet there.

I don't know, this seems like a standard case of looking a gift horse in the boca.
