    What IS that?

It's clearly Cyberverse Grimlock (the shoulders/dino cheeks are the giveaway) BUT that's not a toy design we've seen...

why not write the date properly instead of a jumble of numbers?

Define "properly" in a way that won't lead to an argument as to how dates should be written using just numbers.

That format's a decent one actually YYYYMMDD. Used on filenames it ensures they're in date order!

I don't think it's a toy design. I think it might be promotional art for the show.

A message board title is not the place for file names. It needs to tell us what the thread is about, i.e "New Grimlock pics". The date is already there when the thread is created.

I very much suspect the original poster is one for whom English is not their first language too....

Make up your mind. First, you wanted him to "write the date properly." That IS a proper date format in Japan, and is also the most correct format from a technical standpoint. Incidentally, what is proper for you in England (D/M/Y) is not proper for me in Serbia (D.M.Y.) and certainly not for Americans (M/D/Y) who make the majority of members here.

I mean in the format of xxxx/xx/xx not xxxxxxxx for readability.

I also didn't get the memo that TFW2005 is a Japanese site for Japanese users. Thanks for clearing that up, Sammael-chan.

It's as much for the Japanese as it is for the British. Anyway, back on topic, I'd really like to know what we're looking at here.

This is likely just internal concept art for the evergreen Grimlock design. Probably by Emiliano Santalucia.

Note that the top-left image is the same piece of art used on Authentics Grimlock's packaging, before being fully "painted".

Yeah that's definitely by Emiliano. Absolutely love it too. Shame none of the toys so far come anywhere near it.

Oh my word, that is a fantastic Grimlock design! If only the toy (or POTP Grimsy) actually looked like that :(
