With the news they will reboot, will this affect Bumblebee's box office, now that people knows that this current iteration of the franchise is dead, will they have any interest in another Bayformers film? Are you still going to see the movie, or will you skip it knowing there will be a new iteration after this, i will still see it regardless
Na it won't affected the movie there gonna see it anyone I'm still watching it anyway probably 5 times
I really don't have much interest in this movie anymore. Spinoffs are only interesting in the context that they're in-between main installments as something to wet your appetite. Now that the main storyline is over, who the hell will care bout this movie now? Might as well be a direct-to-DVD release. So yes, it will affect the box office. You don't end a franchise on a god damn spinoff. The only hope for Bayverse is if Bee ends up being a Jumanji sized hit during the Holidays prompting them to do more installments but that's like a 5% chance at best.
I don't think the general movie audience really cares about this franchise. It is not a "must-see" series. If Bumblebee is good, then they'll see it.
I don’t think the a lot of the casual cinema-going public will even be aware, it’s only us as fans who are really going to take note, or avid movie fans.
I sincerely doubt it'll affect the box office in any way, shape or form. People will either go see it or they won't, no amount of "Hey, no more Michael Bay Transformers!" will change the minds of the audience. This film will have to do that and that's a pretty big job to shoulder. Hopefully, it's a success, but if it's not there's nothing we can do and this news will have zero bearing on it outside of fans.
I don't think many people say I'll only watch a film if I know there will be another one. There are lots of movies with no sequels that people enjoy so it's entirely possible to enjoy the Bumblebee movie knowing that's it. The only reason I'm passing is because I don't like movie Bumblebee at all.
Hating on a character simply because they're overpromoted is kind of shallow. I mean, aren't we all tired of DC using Batman as their poster child for a lot of things?
Clearly not enough of us are sick of him because the prick still takes centre on about 90% of the group merchandise. And no movie is owed the benefit of the doubt, onus is on it and it’s trailer to convince me that it is worth my time.
It's not the first time I've given up on a character because they got pushed too hard. There was a point where I just stopped buying Snake Eyes figures because GI Joe had pushed the character too hard. For a while I'd have nothing to do with Wolverine because Marvel was over doing it.
This movie is such a lame duck now. Even Paramount wanted to pull the plug on it but they were already too far ahead in pre-production. What's there to be excited about when the main story is "done".
