Does anybody have the Printformers Marvel PMOP head? Will that work with this? Thanks.

Darn. Well, thanks anyway! Guess I'm fine with a bit of partsforming... after all, the original did it too.

That kit is what made me bought the LG35 and LG42 whole kit. I would have never bought it if we couldn’t get Ginrai in its original transtector form. After waiting for a long time I have finally found it and oh boy it was definitely worth the wait! My first 3rd party figure and I am really impressed by the airlift and look of it. The only downside is that the smokestacks are not in the right place but that isn’t much of a deal for me!

I had indeed loads of difficulties to find it and got scammed on eBay. Finally found it from an Italian shop but there were not a lot of listings around the web to buy it. Really glad to have it now!

Yeah i bought mine when bbts only had 2 in stock and i bought 1 of them. I thought at first the figure would be around but i had been talking to her about it for a couple of days before purchase. So my better half said "just spend the money" cause she told me "i don't want to here you be unhappy when they are sold out and you can't find one for your figure" . I'm really glad i did listen to her cause the other one was gone within hrs after i bought mine. The funny thing is it seems she knows more about collecting and buying then i do. It's 1 of 3 of my hobbys but then again she does the grocery store thing anyway. Shes into the high end dolls that are $130 a piece.

I can't seem to find it again.

EDIT: Seems you have to PM on the boards. Here is his profile:

Perhaps stprime will have better luck.

So I received this add on yesterday from toy dojo . Quick thoughts on this are well kinda disappointed. I’m normally an MP collector STRICKLY , but I made an exception seeing how Takaras LG EX version of God Ginrai looked . Now I haven’t received my LG EX yet ( still in the mail ) but I went ahead and grabbed up the add ons ASAP as I noticed they were drying up quickly.
Anyways , someone said he’s like folding and egg shell and yeah , I totally agree lol. The plastic seems really thin , and he doesn’t hold together to well in alt mode . Though I didn’t buy him for his truck mode rather then I did for his bot mode . He definitely is super posable , and can maintain lots of dynamic poses . Granted he isn’t toon accurate in any way , shape or form , ( which is kinda a bummer ) , he does have the presence of Ginrai . I think I paid about $70 for him . I personally think had I had the chance again to spend the money , I probably would of skipped this add on . I’m hoping my mentality of this all changes of course when LG EX shows up . As a stand alone figure though I’d definitely pass unless I could find him for 30-40 dollars tops .

Got this when it was new and loved it right away. Now that I've handle the other PMOP figures that came after I can easily say this is my favorite Ginrai. While I think the overall packages of Power Baser and Thunder Manus are better, and while I do like those Ginrai figures, this Ginrai hits the sweet spot for me in terms of size, transformation fun, looks and character. Bot mode has an almost Transformers Animated level "life" to it. It's so expressive and characterful and a joy to pose. Tabbing together tightly in truck mode makes it a blast to roll around, too. Such a great figure.

I’m disappointed in the price there asking due to his build quality. I have no QC issues whatsoever mind you . Like I said , I’m sure my opinion will change once he’s combined in all his power up glory .

While he is light, I find the build quality to be very good. For better or worse PE had to make something that worked with the base figure, which means light. Despite the weight I don't think it's particularly flimsy or fragile and mine has held up to a LOT of posing and transforming over the last few months so that's a good sign. I do understand though - it doesn't have the thicker 'feel' that we've grown used to and the premium sort of finish that PE does so well so it can seem like a lower quality figure.

While I'm totally happy with it as it is, I do think it would be great if PE made a more refined version that did not have to work with the combining gimmick. Make it voyager size, use thicker plastic, some metal in the lower legs, some ratchet joints, some rubber soles on the bottoms of the feet, a matrix chamber and matrix since it wouldn't have to house an extra head, a premium paint job. I'd buy that without a second thought!

Fair enough. He was a much better value at the original asking price of $40.

He never retailed for $40, at least not at American etailers, he was always $60

I guess I misremembered. I just know it was a bit less than $75.
