I hope so too but I doubt it. I already have the ko white version and I don't get recolors of the same mold but the black and teal made me double dip. This is nice though.

That'd be awesome if there was. I had originally ordered my EVA version from Toy Bento a long while ago, and never got it. Tried contacting them originally, and was told that they received a partial shipment, so they couldn't fulfill my order yet, so I waited, and now it looks like they are on hiatus, so I'm basically SOL, along with the other items in that order, so $200 gone.  
Plus it looks like the original Eva version is sold out everywhere now, so I would gladly take an Origins Eva version.

 

Is it even a hiatus? The word I heard was they were done for good.

 

That really sucks man, you’re the first story like that that I’ve heard of from toybento, he seemed like such a good seller in my dealings with him, if a bit slow

 

I'm gonna wait and see if they make a all black KO Origins Xerxes. To be fair, the post with the listing for the KO did have a pic with the OG Xerxes.

 

I have no idea what the actual situation is, as it was my first order with them. They had the best price on the Eva version that I found, along with some other items I had been looking for. I actually would still be under the impression that they were still waiting on their second order of the Eva version to arrive, if I hadn't decided to check up on it again. I had a similar situation years ago when Aces went under, but at least in that situation I ended up with other items that he had available, even if it wasn't what I had originally ordered. This time I never got a response to my second email. Too bad I can't write it off on my tax return as a loss. Plus I still missed out on the Eva deco.

 

For those who are ordered with showZ for the black and teal xerses origin version you are going to get the dark blue version.

Just got mine and pretty disappointed.

 

That is a bit Naughty isn't it making people think they are going to get a Black Lio Convoy / Nemesis Breaker deco and they don't,

( I do like the red mane too - but Proper "Nemesis" colours would sell it more to me a red sword would also be nice too - but I'd not mind a teal green or Orange sword either).

He's still very Handsome with the red - but he's more of a new-Unique character like that. But perhaps the other colour may be released alone with another go at the purple options - I think some wouldn't mind a slight variation on the EVA deco as Shattered Glass - and there is certainly some potential for a Galva-Lio Convoy deco too.

Also if people don't object to new colours a Lio Jnr deco might be rather nice so he'd be the colour of a proper lion then. Though there was a BLack and red Jigsaw Puzzle Lio Jnr and he is perhaps what Xerses coulde be seen as an update of.

Nice toys regardless though.

 

Try reaching out to him on Facebook, he was pretty responsive to me. He had a family issue last year, decided to close shop, came back in a limited fashion and I think still trying to clear his backlogs. When my order didn't come through he gave me a full refund... and re-sent the item later; meaning he actually had the item reach me before I paid him afterwards.

I'm more confused as time goes on, between reading "original" and "Origin" and so on.

Can those who have received the NeoArts KO of the Origin Xerxes post the actual contents of the box? ie figure and weapons. I really don't like the claw weapons.

 

You get the figure, a base and stand, the terrible instructions, two katanas (die cast) with sheaths, two ion rifles, the bow blaster, the tail whip with the daggers in the tip, extensions for the tail whip, the rear mounting system and the big red buster sword.

 

You're confusing me even further. Are those for the Origin Leonidas (the white version) or the Origin Xerxes (black/nemesis)? Katanas and Red buster sword seems to me is for the white version Origin Leonidas, because PandaGash's picture at the top has Origin Xerxes with the blue buster sword.

Does Origin Xerxes has katanas as well, or the awful claws from the previous Perfect Effect PE-DX07 Xerxes?

 

Origin Xerxes comes with the claws, no katanas.

Fyi, if anyone is still looking for the Eva version, Robotoybase still has it listed instock. I know there have been inconsistencies with his inventory issues, so I emailed him to see if it was really instock. He said yes, so I ordered one. I'll update if there are any issues. Also, last I checked ohmyprimus had one more in stock.

 

I got the white one myself from them, its a great figure. No complaints other than whats been mentioned in the thread about very minor paint smudges that I was able to clean off, and the joints/pegs can be very tight so keep that in mind.
