Sorry for necroing the thread without any actual Shinki news, buuuuut.... Got her off Mandrake for around 8000 yen (5500 base price plus about 3000 for shipping). Pretty good price for an exclusive figure; hell, I'm pretty sure the normal Strarf Bis was slightly more expensive. She's even MIB, too! So yeah, now I have the pre-Fall version of everyone's favorite Dark Action Girl. Not much to say, other than it's nice to get a new Shinki figure that isn't just an accessory pack (speaking of, I need to pick up some spare bodies for Tsugaru and Ft. Bragg. Having Bragg as a horrible cyberpunk ostritch monster is funny, but it bugs me that she's basically incomplete). "DELET THIS"
Heh. Yup, still kicking. Not as much into TF's as I have been in the past, so mostly just been lurking. And then I saw the date on the thread and, wooooow.
Been a while, largely because Shinkis kind of died. They might be getting a revival, though if it's a full line or just some scummy freemium app crap from Konami is unknown.
I dug out Pomock and made a horrifying discovery... Been a while since I've toyed with these guys. It's really too bad they're not being made any more.
Huh, just checked my Pomock - her feet are definitely tan instead of white, but her hands (open palm, splayed fingers) are still perfectly white. No idea what the condition of the hands in her box are as it's in storage. I miss the days when this thread was active, hopefully the revival promises new figures and isn't just a game.

MMS4 bodies, perhaps? That said, they're going to need to push Shinkis hard now that the mini robot girl market has exploded ever since Shinkis went down. Frame Arms Girls in particular pretty much filled the void and Koto is a fucking beast in Japan market everything (I don't think it's possible to NOT own something from them if you order from Japan, god knows I have some chain base material AND Koto made the god-tier 1/100 Metal Gear REX kit)
So new Shinki release from the new game project. But it's officially labeled as Megami Device. That's a headache... Not completely Shinki related but I'm shocked Alice Gear Aegis is getting such a mercahndise push, both from Koto and even a Figma, it just came out last month. New Shinki is also by Koto and they in general seem to push to make all their lines work together instead of compete, so I wouldn't worry there.
The way things are going i can easily imagine THIS THREAD filled with almost all sorts of mecha musume... All thanks to Koto!
These are Megami Device, not Bousu Shinki, though looking very similar. There have been news about Konami collaborating with Kotobukiya to revive BS, I really hope it would be an action figure line again. In the last previous Wonfes we have been shown constantly prototypes of Koto BS model kits...but nothing have been released yet.
I'd be alright with this thread turning into a FA:G/Megami Device/General Kotobukiya Robot Girl thread. Might get some more people in here.
wether we like or not any new shinki will be a model kit... and the first one is shown already *points at first pics on link* true! that reminds me.... i need to take some pics... ;p
