Unfortunately no....Her majesty TT, hasnt seen it fit to grace us with retools/recolours for that line  

He is an evil clone of Rodimus, born from his own doubts and psychological imbalance.

 

I like the chrome as well but I have to plead ignorance on the helmets. One is more rounded and one is more pointy. I like the rounded one myself. It looks more like I remember from the cartoon

 

Inferno fits in well with the crew. The 10 year old in me just gets giddy seeing these guys together

Black Rodimus Convoy began his existence as an illusory “doppelganger” that occasionally appeared before Rodimus Convoy. In becoming Supreme Commander at a young age, an enormous pressure was placed upon the still inexperienced Rodimus. Rodimus questioned whether he was really suited to be leader, and as his inner conflict went unnoticed by others, this heavy emotional stress gave birth to an opposing personality that eventually seemed to gain self-awareness. So it's actually possessed by the ghost of Starscream?? Pretty cool story, either way. And like @Dean ML says, totally 80s colours!

 

Havent read anything in his bio to suggest Starscream had an involvement. So I dont know if there is another source partaking to it. This comes from his bio card correct?
Such a good looking figure, so many problems. Shame....

@Blazing Mewtwo you can continue posting those at the 3p forums. We can tell the difference in there from the start and even if we wont, we wont complain afterwards.

I really should try that full Rodimus truck mode on MP-9B one day lol. Just have him in Hot Rod alt mode at the moment. I dont want to risk breaking anything to get him into that full truck mode lol

Nice, dude! Shockwave especially is one of my favorites! Didn't know if you knew, but not only do Bluestreak's shoulder cannons extend, but they extend farther than most realize. It was our man @Sam that pointed this out to me a few months ago. Pull them out but when it feels like they're fully extended, pull again past a notch to get the last bit of extension. I'll try to take a shot this week if necessary...

 

Nope, didn’t know that about the cannons-Blue is the one I’m always concerned about fiddling too hard with, as he feels more fragile than either of the ‘cons. I’ll have to try that out with the next round of photos, though.

 

Don’t you DARE post pictures that make me reconsider selling mine! Don’t you even think about- Ahh crap, too late.

Takara might have released *better* MPs but i doubt any will beat Inferno as a personal favfavour.

 

After all these years, I finally got around to trying out the full truck mode with TF Masterpiece MP-9B Black Rodimus! Looks frickin awesome!! Thanks Maz!!  

 

That Black Rodimus looks so good. Black Convoy (MP10B) is on Amazon JP for about 70 bucks plus shipping. Between Megs, Black Convoy and Supreme Commander Primal, it’s been a gloriously expensive weekend.
