Can i bother one of you guys to photograph the Longhaul Instructions Sheet? I usually keep a tight ship but it was a hectic day at work and while i was working one of my parents "misplaced" it in the trash.

he got them for free,he's PAID to say they're good, the best, everybody must buy them......,if nbk had folded to bens leg humping and given him the full set for free his opinion would 180 in their favour.that's a fact.

that review was a joke.bashing on nbk, just because his broke in his repraxic hands.

the jinbaos aren't that much bigger, don't have that much more detail I could notice over the nbk.....,their chrome parts look crap against the flat plastic rest of the figure.

for the money for what you're getting, nbk wins hands down.nbk even gave us working pistons on bonecrusher and scavenger.....,not even hasbro give us that.

apparently,if you're a third party company and you have a name people recognize, alot of them will drop whatever they've already got and give money.its quite lame.

we've so,so nearly completed nbk devastator,06 is going to be arriving to our doors in a matter of weeks after cny.

........,but let's not bother, let's get rid of 5 or 6 figures, and pay for 2 and wait most of the year to get a complete devastator again.

its not that much bigger.its not like weijiang m01 over hasbro voyager evasion mode.its a negligable amount.

that's the whole novelty people are jumping ship for.

    I prefer nbk.

nbk will be scaled/able to use the leg extender upgrade kit, jinbai won't,so that will probably make nbk bigger than jinbai in the end

I plan on finishing out the NBK set and I've put in a pre-order for the Jinbao as well.
The NBK set is the same size as the Generations Toys set, making it about 15 inches tall.
The add-on kit that GT is putting out looks like the extensions are about an inch and a half, maybe two inches.
That will put the set at about 16.5-17 inches.
Jinbao's OS combiners have been roughly 20% upscaled in the past, so that would put their height at around 18 inches combined and 20% bulkier.

So the add-on kit will get it closer to Jinbao height, but it'll be skinnier in comparison.

Like I said, I'm getting both because I think the Jinbao will scale better with my UT Bruticus and OS KO Superion.
I'll probably end up painting the NBK in shattered glass colors.

When TT does their masterpiece Constructicons figures, are we gonna buy them too or wait for a 3P to KO them and improve em? I'm hoping like howling Meteor, MT keeps moving ahead with their clean, and super awesome cartoon aesthetic masterpieces. But the closest seems to be the Titans return versions out there with add ons. My problem is I can't get past the basic hands on the individual Constructicons.

What I'm looking for may not be possible. Some 3P company taking the TT or Hasbro set, modifying the figures to masterpiece in terms of hands, articulation, head sculpt, feet, etc., then giving us a faithful cartoon or TF Devastation feeling Devi. I want him huge like that so I can pose him on one knee, one leg sort of out, twisted waist with him reaching out with open hand, and resting his other arm on the ground flat palm. With a head sculpt with the red visor, and mouth open. Massive for my display off the top of my shelf. That is what I want out of a Devastator. And if I display the individual team, I want them to be on par with the likes of Prowl, or Sunsteaker.

That may be coming some day..but right now. I'm kinda not sure what to do. Wait? Or find a set I can live with even if a masterpiece set comes out in the future.

Technically this thread is for Gravity Builder knockoffs which is what both NBK AND JinBao in fact are.

I can't tell. Is the NBK a KO of the Hasbro Devestator? What is the NBK in contrast to the Jinbao?

I knew that there would be someone "smart" who would write something like that.

    You are trolling with jinbao.

First off, I'm happy so many people like the Jinbao KO. Whether you like the size better, enjoy slightly more complex transformations, or just have a thing for smokestacks on the side of bulldozer blades, it's wonderful that you found an affordable toy that suits you. With that in mind, there is a dedicated thread for it here:
KO OS GT Gravity Builder (Devastator)

This thread was named when there was only one Gravity Builder KO, so the name is a little unintentionally misleading at this point. If you're into Jinbao, there are other people just as excited about that KO in the other thread.

Maybe there can be another thread made in the For Sale Or Trade forum to keep track of everyone selling their NBKs, so those posts can serve a constructive purpose and help get good toys to the right people for them.

You mean like how the KO MP-36 thread was created for the straight Takara KO version but the thread itself sees more activity regarding the Infinite Transformation, Toy House Factory and Magten versions of Megatron?

But with respect I will refrain from discussing JinBao in this thread any further. To be honest, once I get NBK 06 in hand I doubt I will have much use for this thread in general.

Almost completed Gravitybuilder save for the arms. Sold it before I knew of the NBK. It was nice but there were a lot of fiddly parts that irritated me and the Toyworld looked more imposing.

Now I am doing the NBK and I would dare to say that instead of simplifying things, they are de-overcomplicating the original designs for the better. If the Jinbao was following them then I would jump to their OS. Right now I see they don’t.

    - Leg bots do get nerfed a bit, specially Scrapper. He sucks in bot mode compared to the original because of the shorter legs but the transformation is more fun. Leg mode locks more solid that the original did. And Mixmaster is more enjoyable to transform and the legs can be cheated to look less short.

    - Arms bots have had a big boost. Love the more posable combiner hands with the new wrist joint (Jinbao does not have that). Bonecrusher looks much better. NBK gets rid of the shovel more efficiently and transformation is way more intuitive and fun. I actually like the bot legs using rails to transform.

    - Loghaul has been the best surprise for me. While it does loose the extra step to get the arms to sit higher (but that did not tab well in the original), it makes up for by getting rid of the leg kibble that rotated due to lack of locking and the overcomplicated transformation. Splitting the dump truck kibble between the arms and legs is a better solution and this version actually gets the arms to lock when in combined form.

Plastic is low quality but not that much, today I felt the recent Takara Ginrai and let me tell you that the NBK plastic is almost the same (I know, Takara quality keeps going down…). It could use more paint but really, the price to what you get is the best I’ve seen. I’ve paid around 9,40€ per figure. I’ve had more expensive KO’s with way worse plastic.

Jinbao has ratchets and stuff but the size is overkill plus, like I said at the start of this post, I like the changes done by NBK more. Specially since they are destined to make combined mode better. For individual bot display I do see the Jinbao better and I might get their Scrapper and Mixmaster since I liked those designs but that is it. At a total of less that 60€ total the NBK more than scratches the Gravity Builder itch.

No clue. It would be awesome if they did, it would save me a lot of trouble.
I plan on waiting until I get all the members of the OS version, then I'm going to tear down my NBK version and try my hand at customizing it.

I don't get why some of us have to explain ourselves about our choice of manufacturer? I don't fault anyone wanting to spend their money on JinBao's version, hell i even understand them. Better plastic, sturdier design, oversized, paint job closer to the original. But the NBK versions to me give the most bang per buck, all things considered.

IMG_20180204_230003.jpg I gotta say, the more I fiddle with these bots, the more I like them.
So much potential (thanks to the original Gravity Builder designers).
For 9 bucks used, they're like amazing value Gunpla kits that if you choose to do some paint touch-ups, it will work wonders on their overall appearance.
If you're in Australia and you wanna get rid of NBK-05, just PM me.

Like what some have said... this scratches the Gravity Builder itch on the cheap! :D

    Thanks for the heads-up.
I'll be careful when fiddling with mine.
I did break off the grey plastic covers for the NBK Scavenger accidentally... the ones that NBK added that the original didn't have in vehicle mode.
The plastic used by NBK is fine for its purpose... which is light play.
However once stress marks are noted, you've gotta be extra careful as the plastic used has very limited tolerances to further stressors.
