I think these two are my favorites overall. The others were cool to be sure, but a little chunkier than I ideally prefer. I like that these have a sleeker profile.

 

It's not going to matter with me as far as the flight stands go, I only got this set for one reason only, the combine mode.

Would never expect a box set of these. Definitely a g2 recolor though. And I'll gladly buy that colorful sob too looove these molds.

 

Hot Damn! If Bruticus looks so good when combined. Even separately, Blast Off, Vortex and the others are truly a Legends gem!

I have to admit, I'm really impressed with this set. The first three dudes arrived this morning and they have me stoked for the final two.

This is my first dalliance into 3rd party legends scale. Or legends scale at all to be honest. I was looking for something to tide me over the G1 masterpiece drought. A stop-gap, if you will. I feel I may have inadvertently kicked off a new plastic crack addition! Indeed, this set might actually redefine how I view collecting TFs going forward.

Surely War Giant is one of the most solid looking (and built) combiners produced - by anyone - so far? Are there any rumours of what Iron Factory might have planned for the future? Also , what are the other figures/companies that people recommend?

 

Welcome to the club! This year Iron Factory have the DJD coming (and they combine!), along with Jetfire, Jazz, Warpath, Slipstream, Nova Prime and Shattered Glass Prime.

Wholeheartedly recommend their Seekers, Black Shadow and Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. Lord Scorpion is an exceptional figure too.

And Prowl, Bluestreak and Smokescreen are awesome but hard to get hold of.

 

Be sure to thoroughly check that your figures are properly assembled. Though they are awesome, multiple people have posted about their figures being assembled with the wrong parts. Many of them are very similar in appearance and small in size, so transforming through all three modes of each is probably the best bet to be sure yours are correct.

Just something to watch for with all small figures with small parts.

3P Legends has a lot to offer. Iron Factory makes figures that are inspired by the IDW comics, while DX9's War in Pocket, Mech Planet's Hot Soldiers, Magic Square Toys and Generation Toys are G1-derived for the moment. Mech Fans Toys does a lot of 3P legends KOs that are upsized in most cases, in addition to the KOs from Pocket Toys and MisterMoon.

 

Anyone get an Invoice yet from Toyercity HK? Ordered the Whole set with EMS shipping for $150 a few months ago.

It's interesting how the cockpit of the vehicle parts forms into his gun.

Love it though, great alt mode style and it just works...

 

I'm going to have a hard time leaving this in combined mode.

So pumped! Hopefully I get the invoice from Toyercity after CNY because for some reason everything that I preordered decided to come out within the first 10 days of February Dx my poor wallet...

And Its mostly stuff that isn’t for me x3 presents for Wife, Sister, and Mom.

Why is it the only combiner I manage to get is Bruticus / Ruination? XD. I am missing an arm and a leg of GT Devastator for like a year, had the rest of the limbs on my Christmas list but didn’t get any (got an even more rare figure from the lovely wife ❤️ and lots of IF ‘bots from the rest of the family), was going to get Guardia (glad I didn’t tho cause GT’s looks amazing), and had 4/5 of Superion but got rid of that a while ago since they smelled horrible. Literally. Must have been the sellers home or w/e, tried everything. Got my money back and threw them out.

A few times I had the opportunity to get the rest of the limbs I need but always fell through.
