So, I'm looking to keep my Takara MP-36 sealed-in-box, and buy IT as my opener.
Big thread here, Couple questions that may or may not have been answered:
- Is TF-Direct the best option right now at $92.95 shipped ? If not, where should I look ?
Also the TF-Direct ad says this is batch 2 due in March, and doesn't include the Modfans voice upgrade kit. What exactly is that kit and where can I get more info on it ?

 

Scheduled to get my IT hopefully this Monday. If it is an IT Megs and not a box of old shoes, it would be odd that the seller decided to go rogue right after he sent my package.  

 

Ebay, ShowZ store, Rabbaspawn etc etc. The Mofans upgrade is a cannon that has English clips.

Could also be that he sent you an envelope with a shiny pendant. Also could be that out of the bunch you might have lucked out and he actually sent you the stuff.

Still waiting on mine from TF-Direct. I did the pre-order in November so I dont know what the hold up is. I ordered other things from china an have gotten them already. All they can say is, its on the way.

 

I found the modfans info, looks like English version is due in march 2018. Did the first IT release include the modfans cannon then, is that what they are implying ? Anywho, LMK where the best place is to buy my IT, and if there's a difference between batch 1 (released) and batch 2 (march). Thanks all

 

I have a BBQ Skywarp and YES model Starscream, Thundercracker, Thrust, Dirge and Ramjet. The Skywarp looks good, but just doesn't transform quite right (arms don't like to fold in flush when going to jet mode). The YES are amazing. everything lines up right and the construction is solid. I highly recommend them.

 

IT included a version of modfans. There's going to be a purely English release later which is what you found and I believe it has 8 english clips. The one that came with IT is an English/Chinese version that only has 4 English clips (the switch is a 4 way selector with English and Chinese on different selections. The remaining selectors are the cannon sound and the transformation sound). Also note that the sound quality on the modfans cannon included with IT is just awful. No idea what the sound quality of the final release will be.

 

Mine has been at the EMS facility for over two weeks. Bad time of the year to get shipments out of China. Around the 26th, things will get back to normal.

 

Has anyone picked up one of these yet? any feedback? Silver repaint MP 36

 

That's the Magten version or as I like to call it KO MP36 X.

 

Just got IT Megatron and he is a thing of beauty. I originally got him just to transform and leave in gun mode but he is so stunning that I may get another one for gun mode. That would give me four Masterpiece Megatron's. I also have MP36 (who I will keep as a battle damaged version) and Despotron.

After I get the English Modfans fusion cannon....I may try to think of some way to mod two of my spare cannons for use with Masterpiece MP10B. I always picture Nemesis Prime/The Fallen in my head canon with extra firepower and a fusion cannon for each arm would do nicely. I hope that it won't be too difficult because my modding "skills" are practically zero.  

 

Just got my thf ko megs. It’s the megatron I didn’t think I needed. I was perfectly happy with the dx9 mightron(except for the hands), but now that one may be heading out the door.

 

Once I seen the THF Meg's I got rid of my DX9 Mightron.

 

Does anyone know how the paint holds up on magten

 

My Magten should be here from Taobao in a couple of days...

 

Myself and a couple of others posted pictures and thoughts about the Magten a few pages back. c p186..?

Since then holding up ok, a few slight scuffs on the silver after a few transformations but to me completely forgivable. A bit under his arm popped out! Should be able to screw it back in but it’s one of the smooth headed screws. But overall sturdy enough and I freaking love him
