Mine finally arrived today and I'm stoked. The chin isn't nearly as noticeably in person (at least to me) and both modes are everything I hoped it would be. I'm usually all for complex transformations and usually have little trouble with them, but I actually needed to use instructions on this guy. He's tons of fun though, and totally worth the price hike in my opinion.

I did have some incredibly tight (like too tight) joints, but those loosened up to solid after some play.

Seems like all the Economy/SAL orders from AE have finally reached their new homes.

I recently posted a Full MP-12+ Sideswipe LED modding tutorial as part 1 of a two-part series. I just finished recording myself while modding up Sunstreaker with his gun for part 2. Because it's a completely new figure, this next video will be more of a demonstration than a tutorial. I will include all the errors, mistakes, workarounds, obstacles and fixes in the video to show what I typically go through on a new figure.

Stay tuned for some fun pics with Sideswipe & the Sunstreaker demo video!

I wish I could say the same. My copy form N-Y using eco/SAl as yet to show up anywhere. It's only listed on JP Post as having left Japan 5 weeks ago... I contacted them several time now and I only got a "we're looking into it" kind of response. Serves me right for wanting to save 5$ on shipping...

Back on topic, I can't wait to share in all the awe that MP-39 seems to be. Cheers to you all for the great pictures.

    Looks great.
Which thread did you post the MP-12+ vid in? I checked the MP-12+ thread and it isn't there.
Will the Sunstreaker vid be posted here?

5 weeks? Oh that sucks big time. I just paid for my AE shipping over the weekend so keeping fingers crossed. I combined it with shipment for the autobot clones so I actually saved $15 by going with slow boat shipping.

The tutorial is on my FB page, but I also posted in the customs forum here:
Heavy/Scratch: - Full LED Upgrade Tutorial: MP-12+ Sideswipe

I can post the video link to the Sunstreaker demonstration once the editing is done. I've got to go through 4+ hours of footage, haha!

TT Instructions have no equal. 3P ones are a disaster, they don't even try.

MP-39 has replaced MP-36 as my favorite Masterpiece, FE Optimus as my favorite Transformer. He’s like a Marvel Legends with the articulation. He handles great and nothing pops out. I think PRiD Vehicon has a more magical leg transformation, but MP-39’s is still amazing. The Masterpiece moment for me was the head reveal lol

Are you in Canada? My wife works for Canada Post and she can track SAL packages using their internal systems. I’m still waiting for my Sunstreaker as well and it shipped Dec. 27th. Normally SAL is around 2 weeks for me but the Vancouver customs facility got slammed from too many small parcels from Asia for Christmas and they are still behind. CP had several 2 million parcels per day loads this past Christmas and they can’t handle that many. Lots of people importing from Asia year round these days. Anyway, like mine, yours may be stuck in a container still waiting to get through customs.

Yes, they did exactly that. Three different supervisors all told me such. Precisely why I never ship anything USPS, even if costs me significantly more to avoid them.

FedEx is garbage as well. They'll hold residential delivery packages until the promised delivery day even if they have them 5-6 days ahead of such. Even worse if it's Smartpost, because then you get FedEx shenanigans followed by USPS shenanigans, the absolute worst of both worlds.

UPS has it's issues, but they've never let me down. Your mileage may vary.

mp39 is truly a masterpiece!!! especially i love we have option to go for proper lambo mode like sidewipe's without the 2 huge chrome intakes, opened doors, front bonnet and head lights pop up... really amazing!

Are the doors swiveled at an angle(not all the way in nor out) when you do this? Just curious, I remember I had a lot of resistance on 1 door due to the mirror my 2nd time transforming but found it's most likely the door angle that was the culprit(on my sample).

The chest Autobot logo is too big and looks off. I would have preferred it to be optional.

I suppose it would be impossible to remove without damaging the paint underneath?
