The KOs are definitely better than PEs; I have PE's first Leonidas and Xerxes, and they either have dangerously tight joints, or stupidly loose elbows. The NT-EVA Leo I got fixed most of those issues and the only con he has is that he can't grip on his weapons as tight as he should (which a few drops of nail polish should fix).

Yeah, I feel the same for the most part. I was going to use them as two different characters. I'll still probably get it though, but now I'm considering either selling the OG or using the Origins Xerxes as his upgraded self/final form.

The quality of the new Origins KO is much better than the original KO. They've fixed the tolerances on the entire figure. No more loosey goosey feet!

Thanks... U actually meant, what's the difference between KO Leonidas vs KO Origin Leonidas.

I've got the original pe Leonidas so I already know (and agree with the sentiments here) that the KO is far superior and feels more sturdy. I was just wondering what was up with the order gin versions.

They are worth it and you can get them for around $80 shipped if u know where to look.

Augh I missed out on the pre-order and I'm leery of ordering one now, because Chinese New Year is in two weeks and risk being stuck in a warehouse in China because the shippers are already starting to ease off on (AFAIK).

My KO Origin Xerxes turned up yesterday. Very nice!
Love the addition of the Maximal symbol when the "official" PE version doesn't have it.

Yes, I think the Maximal symbol is the main attraction.

    Kinda confused here.
All the promo pics for the KO Origin Xerxes uses the teal coloring with the buster sword.
Looks like that's not what you got? Only ask because I'm interested in the black with teal accents/ with buster sword.

Yeah, the initial promo pics are a lie! I ordered mine expecting teal and then saw some photos of the actual colour scheme a couple days later. I was gutted at first but in-hand he is awesome, so I'm keeping him.

I don't own any of the others but as far as I can tell, this uses the new Origin tooling (new chest and head) with the colour scheme from the first Xerxes, but includes the weapons from both the original and the Origin sets (new official Origin Xerxes doesn't have all the weapons from the first version), plus has some mold tweaks to stop breakages. Also has a molded Maximal chest symbol and comes with a blue buster sword.

Well this sucks. I only ordered based on the black and teal.

So is there an EVA version of the Origins KO in the works? If so do any shops have it available for preorder?

Thank you for the answer and input brother Panda.
I think I will test the waters with the white Origin version first. Have the PE leonidas, and QC was spot on. When I got the PE Origin Leonidas, it was a floppy mess. Glad that you are enjoying your copy.

Same here but I was pleasantly surprised in hand. He has more paint apps than PE's advertised one and I think if he was mostly black, you'd lose a lot of the detail. I hope he manages to win you over!

I'm tempted to dip on the white one too after messing with this guy. And swap swords!
