I *think* the left arm has both upper and lower jaws for the *real* dino head for dino mode, the right jaw shoulder pad looks to be a hidden part. Also the right hand in bot mode seems to be a permanant mace weapon. Looks hinged so maybe it hides the tail, makes me think he has a bit of deluxe Scorn engineering in that one arm forms the head section and one arm forms the tail. Also the right foot seems to have the pointy toe but l can\'t see it on the left foot. Overall l like it, but want to see a painted up one. 

 

Protos can change. This was an old pic i think that just now made it out.

 

Studio series is looking strong... Assuming that's what this is.

I remember the photo from the presentation that also had Blackout and that Grimlock like Deadpool was a sexy motherf***er.

And he somehow has his shoulder T-Rex heads but also a T-rex head on his arm...

 

Looking at this figure, IF this is the finally design, I really hope they don't give us one should with a full T-Rex head and the other only being half the head. That just wouldn't look good.

It be a shame cause the figured they showed in the leak look awesome.

 

They look to be the same figure to me - the robot legs become the T Rex legs, and the mace hand is present in both. I suspect as others have said that the shoulders are each half of the dino head, with the lower jaw on the one forearm. They may have left a full half head on the one shoulder of this prototype by accident.

 

This little piggy likes what he sees. This'll look fantastic with his buddy Scorn.

Well, the movie model has two full Dino heads on it. I'm pretty sure a little leniency is alright when the source material is total bullshit.

Or there's dummy head halves that are less detailed/come form somewhere else that give him the full paldrons, and this being a proto the right shoulder/head part just fell off.

EDIT: Yeah, my money's on it just missing the part because the left foot is also missing the toe.

 

Things that look like they will bother me:
-Hip armor restricting outward movement of legs.
-Ball for hand does not look interchangeable
-dino head kibble on left arm.

Otherwise, I like the proportions way more than the first attempt and the feet look chunky and articulated, so that's good to me.

 

I really want to know what's going on with the transformation here. The right shoulder definitely has only half a dino head. Right arm obviously turns into the tail, but the real interesting part here is the left arm. Not only because of the lower jaw on it, but more than that, it also has the T-rex arms on it! It's not hard to see he will use a BW Megatron type set up, but how the hell is it all going to come together? Veeery fascinating.

 

I'm worried he won't have two dino heads on his shoulders. However, in an earlier leaked photo, he had the dino head on his left shoulder (in this photo it's missing). His dino head on his right shoulder has both sets of teeth (as if there are 2 halves of the head) and the full bottom jaw is on his arm. This means all his parts make at least one dinosaur head with one half of the jaw left over. So why would Hasbro give him a fake head when they only include one half of the head. Do you guys think he will only have the dino head on one shoulder (3rd picture)? And is the robot model in the leaked picture a prototype or a CGI image from the movies (the one where he is on a sheet with Blackout) real (1st picture)?

 

Ugh, nobody else notices that there are TWO OBVIOUS SCREWS HERE AND HOW IT SHOWS IT LACKS THE HEAD BECAUSE THE PROTOTYPE ISN'T FULLY CONSTRUCTED.

 

Only 18 days and we’ll get to see a complete Grimlock, possibly transformed correctly.

 

Ha yeah right Hasbro transform something right and have it on display not likely. But they do have a limited time to get everything set up so in a rush ill give them slack. This 18 days is killing me good thing I have several things to do in between to kill time.

 

Huh, I actually wasn't aware of that. I'm quite disappointed there isn't any logic to his design. I just watched him transform and his gigantic legs somehow turn into his lower jaw.

 

Now that\'s a movie figure I would be totally down for.

 

The list from 4chan doesn't contain any Leader Class Blackout.

 

plot-twist: the 4chan turns out to be somewhat real and Destroyer it's the TF2007 Megatron as he could be doing a cameo in TF6, and TF6 Optimus it's protoform prime.

Now, let's be real, THERE WILL BE, a voyager sentinel, shockwave, dotm megs, etc, at some point, maybe not this year but Studio series it's line to stay, we will see MOST of the characters at some point.

 

I spy another clue: the RIGHT side of the upper jaw on the LEFT shoulder has 2 canine fang/teeth, which matches the half jaw on the RIGHT side of the upper jaw on the RIGHT shoulder. 

Not sure if it means anything, but perhaps the front (right) half of the Dino head on the LEFT shoulder is not meant to be there, maybe just stuck on to check tolerances or something. 

Anyway, any more thoughts on him?
