I think figures never made or that never saw mass release would be first on the list if the line continues. which I think it will Soundwave , Leadfoot , constructicons etc then they might revisit other characters all ready done with either new molds or new updated decos.

 

Looks like we’ll at least be getting a nice mix of both, with Stinger and Crowbar finally getting deluxe moulds and Jazz and Lockdown getting updates etc.

 

Boy, this got me thinking about what we could see. This is my wish list for a line that lasted for a few years (a LOT of these are unlikely but hey, go big or go home):

DELUXE:

• weaponized Leadfoot
• weaponized Roadbuster
• a unique mold Elita-One (wouldn't say know to new versions of Chromia and Arcee either...maybe a "deluxe" figure that is a three pack of scout sized Acrees)
• Soundwave
• Wheeljack/Que
• Mirage/Dino
• Jolt
• Mowhawk
• Dreadbot
• Hatchet
• Rampage (red, no centaur mode)

VOYAGER

• Ratchet (I know he's getting a deluxe but he needs to be bigger)
• Scrapper
• Bonecrusher
• Devcon
• Onslaught
• Hightower
• Overload (yeah, I know they didn't appear in the movie in robot forms but I want all the Constructicons)
• Infernocus - more movie accurate robot mode, maybe have it transform into a demonic dragon rather than be a combiner.

LEADER

• The Fallen
• Megatron (assuming he doesn't get an MPM version, I'd love to see an improved movie 2 based leader or a movie 3 leader)
• Demolishor
• Shockwave*

SUPREME

• Devastator - Like the original, no individual robot modes (can't see that working well but who knows?), but I'd be great to see something more screen accurate.
• Driller and Shockwave - *maybe instead of a Leader Shockwave, I would love a maybe big voyager/small leader Shockwave that came with a 2-3 foot long driller. So this would be "supreme" class in the same way that Jetwing Optimus was.

The point of these code names is "Let's try and conceal the identities of our products", not "Let's create a puzzle for adult toy collectors which they can solve". If they seem random, that's the entire point.

 

I don't see why you needed to explain that regardless of what you think I'm not stupid and made a comment not an inflection wanting to why.

 

WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT ISN'T SOME ELABORATE RIDDLE? I'VE GOT A WALL IN MY HOUSE DEDICATED TO FIGURING OUT THE IDENTITY OF THIS TOY!

Of course its not a puzzle. I just put forward the idea that Hasbro probably wouldn't use the name Destroyer for an Autobot even as a code name. I mean, those names do show up in store systems and receipts. But maybe I'm wrong, what do I know? Maybe its an Autobot! Could be a Dinobot. Maybe they thought it would be funny to give a code name to some cute little guy who wouldn't harm a fly. Or maybe it is 100% random. I honestly don't care. It was just idle speculation.

But whatever, you keep doing you, my dude.

 

Hopefully there is something tomorrow. I'm not saying pictures or Bald guys, But just something like, "Oh, Barricade is made into a Deluxe BB Movie toy."

 

Here's to hoping Destroyer is Bonecrusher. It'd be foolish if it wasn't.

But I'd also take Slug as a Voyager.

 

Other than Bonecrusher, Shockwave or Sentinel, I can't really think of anyone else to be Destroyer Voyager.

 

WE NEED A DELUXE DISPENSOR AND DOTM LEADER CLASS MEGATRON!!!!!!!

 

I only hope we can see a good movie.....

 

Really hoping Destroyer is Shockwave. We seriously need an updated figure with more movie accurate proportions, no gorilla arms or hollow legs.... and that actually transforms into a vehicle and not a mish-mash of robot parts.

 

hopefully it will be better than the tlk toyline that line sucked it was all repaints and minor retools and a few new molds i hope the 1972 GTX gets a toy
