Same size, just that the tolerances are very tight on the Model001 upgrade

 

Finally got my IT from Show.Z. He had a few minor chips out of the box, but after 5 transformations cycles or so I am yet to see any new ones. Very pleased with this guy

 

I don't know how this happened but my IT01 I only paid for last week through rub/show z just showed up! This might be normal in the bigger countries but normally New Zealand deliveries are more on the 4 to 6 week mark minimum. First impressions are that it's amazing! I'm just glad I finally have one after the 15 month ordeal of premium collectables.

Top marks to Show Z and rub. This is why I order threw you guys first!

 

Glad to hear others' are arriving from showZ/rub. Mine only shipped on the 25th but I'm eagerly refreshing the tracking page

Magten "Destruction of the Great" vs Official Takara

I haven't transformed either of them so I can't comment there. My Takara was pretty much flawless with all good joints.

The Magten has similar quality to the official.

I did have to remove the screws in the cannon and re-screw them in to get a good tight seal and allow the cannon to hold onto his arm. There is a slight scratch on the left shoulder of the Magten, otherwise the pant and finish are perfect.

I included pics of everything he comes with. He included a clear stand for gun mode and a total of 6 faces and 3 chest pieces.

It did not include any batteries so I don't know what he sounds like yet.

 

I see they go balls out to the fore, they dont even hide the real names as other companies do in the package. Kudos.

I wish they had included ONE chest piece without the cartoon insignia. Blech. I don't like that thing.

 

Yeah it would have been better....Guess can cover it with a silver backed one? Might or might not work.....Damn it only misses a backplate  

I wonder how it will work if someone uses a light blue wash on those white faces.....

 

I suspect that those pieces will eventually be sold separately like the mod cannon and light up heads. It's only a matter of time. They already have some sellers on eBay selling those separately (G1 chest and head, plus gun stand) but they're unknown sellers to me. Not sure if they're reliable.

 

Yeah, no backplate.

I might have a silver back insignia somewhere, but I think the toon one is too fat to be covered. I measured it vs the regular white backed Reprolabels and it looks like a no go. I don't know maybe the silver ones are a little bigger...
