Yeah, hi. I was just curious after watching Thew Adams' review on the third party Sludge figure. So, who is your favorite Dinobot out of curiosity? Explanations are welcome. I'm going to give my vote to Snarl. He's just so cool in design. Also, sorry if wrong thread. Thought it would fit in the toys thread.
I voted Grimlock, because of course. I don't really know much of them personality wise, but design wise it's Grimlock. If Scorn was in the poll however.... Wait, is there another Thew Review? I thought he did Snarl and Slug?
Back when G1 first landed it was Sludge because he was my fave Dinosaur (although He wasn't a particularly convincing Brontosaurus and should have been WAY bigger than the others) and the most fun, but forward to the Modern Era and it became Grimlock for that wonderful MP. And it still is, although this Guy is currently pushing hard for No.1 too...... Such a great update.
Snarl for me since G1. Loved the box art, loved his bio, loved his look with the splayed tail wings in Bot mode. The toy was amazing...... Still my fave to this day.
Grimlock alway was my favorite. Slag came next after my nephew got him. Swoop became a favorite because of the UK comics. Snarl will always be just before Sludge in my Dinobot coolness top five.
Snarl. The G1 stegasaurus mode is one of the best beast modes in the franchise. The gold spine plates make it look more like a piece of art. Personality wise, I have a soft spot for the big dumb lug, Sludge. Slag is an asshole.
Slash. But since she's not on the list, I voted Swoop. Always loved his character. The only Dinobot you'd want to be friends with, and the only one aside from Grimlock that ever really did things in fiction. As far as G1 toys go, I'd say Snarl. He just hit all the right marks for me.
Of the above? Grimlock and that is very much based on his character from the Marvel Comics, not the cartoon in which I found him kinda annoying. However my actual favourite Dinobot is...(Beast Wars)Dinobot.
Grimlock. The character's personality, both in the G1 cartoon and comics (and the Fall of Cybertron game...) stand out among the Autobots the most, he turns into my favorite dinosaur out of all the Dinobots, and the Classics toy from a decade ago is still a lot of fun. The new Power of the Primes one also looks great in my opinion.
