Thanks! Yeah, I love the scaling. Though, admittedly, the scales are still off by a smidge. 1:16th vs 1:18th. But yeah, correctly scaled MP Constructicon alts would be amazing! "But the heights don't match the holy size chart and/or toon!" Screw the holy size chart and the toon! Screw em right in the face!  

What does he think about MAS01? Put MAS01 in a My Buddy outfit and have him pal around with him.  

If I made a Bruticus, MP11 would be WOEFULLY underscaled! I'd need to make a 1:18th scaled SS. But I get what you are saying.

6yrs of work! You should get a reward or master custom certificate. KINGBOTS has done killer work, Very cool. But yours Is the BEST. Forearms and hands look great to me. Yrs back I was going to do the same thing then saw the difficulty on scale, like u said.

I think when I originally made this post, I didn't realize just how big he actually is (or there's new pictures that wasn't there originally...the bathroom and couch pics I don't remember seeing for instance lol). Because the above reaction really doesn't do this justice. At all! I mean, holy hell, he's literally twice the height and however much more the mass of TR Fortress Maximus. But he has full articulation (you were ballsy enough to give this guy ankle tilts...the logistics of that while also being able to support all that weight without stress is unreal).

I do think, even you didn't intend it initially, that the arms and hands are sized right. They have the proper mass that gives out that "I can punch through a skyscraper with ease" feeling. Or punching through or ripping off the front door of Autobot City...   Speaking of which, I love all the scene pics with the Autobots and Joes squaring off with the big guy.

 

Dude, he must be a good buddy, to watch TV with.

Thanks! And no, I am not. I really never saw the allure of combiners with guns because they are the "big gun". I mean, can you imagine Prime getting hit with a combiner sized gun?? Completely obliterated! Or at least should be.

Thank you again for the flattery. The ankle tilts weren't too bad to add in. I mean, the one for Scrapper was part of the design of the toy. Though I do have concerns that one day the plastic will just shatter. The one for MM just required figuring our clearance for the barrel over the cab. And honestly, the engineering of this thing was the most enjoyable part. Making things "work" and having those eureka moments are so much fun.

As for the forearms/hands, I've come to love them for the powerful look they give off. I even manipulated them in photoshop to be smaller and it didn't look as good as I imagined. Probably because I'm used to them now.

The question did come up a while ago so I weighted him. Surprisingly less than I expected. Each leg was 9lbs and the toros/arms were 33lbs. So 51lbs total.

Posing isn't easy. Well, the arms and hands are, and the head being on a ball joint is, but the legs, if adjusted at the hips or knees is a bit of work. Also kind of scary considering I have to be certain it's balanced. So if I do make adjustments at the hips or knees I have to loosen the nuts and bolts before repositioning a joint then retighten the nut/bolt when set. The ankles move freely. The arm joints (shoulders, elbows) are just tight enough that I can reposition them and friction will hold them where I move them. Same for the joints in the hand/fingers.

Offers? Haha, none, no serious ones anyway. I think everyone is well aware that I have no desire to part with it after the amount of work I put into it. And I think everyone is well aware from my comments that I have no desire to create another or that my wife wouldn't tolerate it. Also, it wouldn't be cheap.
